-Michigan State win NCAA Championship 33/1 (.70 units)
-Xavier win NCAA Championship 125/1 (.50 units)
-Sum of all Final Four team's seeds UNDER 11.5 (-110)
-Final Four parlay (UK, MSU, OSU, UNC) (.2 units to win 6 units and change)
Already lost futures on: Mizzou, Cal, FSU, WVU, Iowa St, Illinois
Louisville/Michigan State UNDER 58 (1st half)...... I hope I'm not "going to the well one too many times" with this bet. I've been hitting MSU 1st half UNDERS all season and I'm gonna try it again. I just think these two teams are gonna start slow, try and feel each other out. Not to mention, MSU and Louisville are tied for 2nd in the country in Defensive FG% allowed and while MSU does rank 11th in Offensive FG%, Pitino's boys don't even crack the top 200 in Offenisive FG%. I think we're gonna have another ugly start to this game.
As far as the side is concerned, I think MSU could potentially mop the floor with Louisville (and I don't say that very often about MSU). There's no reason for me to bet MSU though with my futures bet pending and a few bracket contests I'm in needing them to win. I'm not even gonna hedge my futures bet on Sparty, even with a 5-point 'dog!!!! Is it me being stupid? Possibly, but I don't see how Louisville has any advantage anywhere. MSU should have their way down low, rebounding and getting good looks offensively. Izzo is 5-0 SU and 5-0 ATS all-time in the Big Dance v.s. the Big East (and I think Sparty was a 'dog in at least 4 of those games), his teams have just showed past Big East teams what physical basketball really is.
3 years ago, Pitino and Izzo hooked up in the Elite 8. Pitino brought in the Number 1 seed overall in the tournament with his big, bad Louisville Cardinals. Sparty was merely a #2 seed that had won the Big Ten but gotten very little respect all year long. MSU punched Louisville in the mouth, Louisville fall down....go boom. They didn't get up, no response at all, players wanting to come out of the game rather than play down low with MSU. THAT was a better Louisville team and THAT was a worse MSU team.......nuff said. 66-55, Sparty.
Good luck ya'll

But you think Mich state wins by 11, why not make a straight wager on Mich st to win
Yes
Yes
Because I've already got a future on MSU to win it all, I need them to win in a couple of bracket contests I got, I've got a future on them to make the Final Four.....all those require MSU to win SU, so IMO there really is no value in laying points with them and adding "more eggs to the basket."

I was pointing out how badly Izzo outcoached Pitino in that game. It was a game of chess that was over in about 4 moves. That's WTF 3 years ago has to do with this year. And if you're another one of those guys around here that doesn't think coaching means shit, well then I feel sorry for you.

bense I saw first hand at the Dunk early season, what happens to a Pitino coached team, when the chips start to go against them. When things are good they're great, but when things don't go their way, they struggle. The team, and Siva especially, when smacked in the mouth, never recovered from the Friars initial punches, and gave up. PC went on to smoke them while Slick Rick, in seeing the troops play like cowards, benched a few starters and quit coaching the team. He spent the entire second half, arms and legs crossed, giving up on the game, just like his players had already done. I'm not trying to take anything away from the Friars, but no way that outcome should have been what it was. Now on a bigger stage, against a much better team, and coach, they'll show their true colors during adversity again. Hopefully Spartys habit of playing down to their competition, won't affect the way they start this game, because if they punch them in the mouth, like the Friars did, big game or not, I've seen this horse and pony show before, they'll quit again. BOL

excellent wager IMO, and although Ville gets a lot of steals, can't see any poor ball handling from Sparty, and the attempts will backfire. Sparty's on one of those missions and has the personnel and coaches to get there.

You obviously haven't seen Louisville play since they made their run to big east champs. I'm from Louisville and i know we win by probably 10 or more easily. Mich St. is so weak lmao

don't make assumptions you make yourself look foolish. wow what a shock the homer thinks his team will win. VIlle was fortunate to beat New Mexico when gordon was gimpy and nm could not make a shot.

I know what you're saying, and you feel like you don't want to get greedy, but with that kind of confidence, just one more unit - a win is a win, after all. Just sayin...
GL, and I'm with you on Sparty.

222bad - Agree with everything you said, I always appreciate the knowledge/reasoning you bring to this forum.
Quantum Leap, Professional, LaDaddy - thanks ya'll, good luck to you as well!
dizdoti - You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but would you mind providing some reasoning behind it? What makes you think MSU is weak?
lbreno - Yes, a younger version of me would've pounded this line right away. And I could get greedy, and I know one more unit ain't a big deal, but like I said, it just feels like I've got enough riding on it already. I figure by not trying to hedge with Louisville at +5, that's kind of like having a wager on MSU -5. Good luck this weekend
TRAIN - Thanks man, I sure appreciate your insight as well. That parlay looks about as nice I imagine Megan Fox would look naked!!!

Could not agree more....I was at the Marquette / L-Ville game in January and when Marquette began pulling away, instead of L-Ville stepping it up, it looked like they started playing effortlessly and it looked like Rick Pit was yelling less and sitting more while Marquette was taking over than when the game was tight.........I noticed that too.

I've been hitting MSU 1st half UNDERS all season and I'm gonna try it again.
MSU is 17-14 to the over this season on totals in the 1st half & 6-1 to the over in the last 7 games in the 1st half. It would take one hell of a guru to hit a bunch of 1st half under's with MSU this year in the 1st half after understanding the results. Just saying...

I'm pretty sure I'm about 6-1 or so on the 1st half unders. I'm not gonna dig it up to get the exact numbers, you can if you want. In fact I encourage you to, I'd love to know the exact record. I suppose 6-1 may not equate to "all season," but it's been a rather popular bet for me.
