Good evening covers fam. Gotta good one tonight. Two teams that have played each other a bunch of times over several years. These teams know each other well and , they’re not fond of each other to say the least. Lined opened up Conn - 1.5 , now the line is - 4.5. The total opened up @ 141.5 and has gone to 142.5. I had the Jonnie’s the other night vs Marquette and had to sweat that one out. The Jonnie’s play outstanding defense. They turn you over, they’re good at defending the paint, they don’t make a lot of mistakes. But, they’re good at cannot shoot @ a high efficiency rate. They missed a ton of free throws and aren’t a very good offensive team. Their offense is ranked where it is , because of their defense. The get extra possessions. Conn is better @ most offensive metrics. Offense efficiency Conn is 10th nationally, Jonnie’s 74th, Offense Effective FG% Conn is @ a 57% , Jonnie’s 50%, 3pt shooting, Conn 37% , Jonnie’s 30%, FT % , Conn 78 % , Jonnie’s a poor 69%. Jonnie’s just played a grueling game vs another conference foe and we’re playing as hard as they could to win that game , believe me I watched every second of it. Jonnie’s defensive efficiency is better away than Conn is @ home so , the Jonnie’s can win this outright if they’re not to tired from the other night and come to play. I’m on the under tonight. The average length of possession for the Jonnie’s on defense is 18.3 seconds ranking in @ 327th before they allow a shot to their opponents. Conn is not too far behind @ 18.0 seconds in holding their opponents in taking a shot ranking 279th. Also Conn holds the ball for an average of 19.0 seconds on offense ranking in @ 326th. I don’t think the Jonnie’s will try and push the pace tonight. Don’t think they’ll mind slowing it down some and try to win with their defense. SOS is very close , Conn right around 55th overall and the Jonnie’s right around 64th nationally. I feel this will play out under the total by a few pts and I’m on the under tonight @ 143.5 - 115. GL
