There are situations where I would foul in that spot:
1. If the ball goes into the hands of a terrible foul shooter...somebody 60% or below
2. If I am matched up with a far superior team
3. If I have major players fouled out and don't have the depth for OT.
None of these occurred so I would have played for OT as well
