This is a tough spot for the Bulldogs. They’re coming off a huge upset win over Florida and could easily overlook a Texas team that’s much better than its record suggests. Georgia hasn’t won back-to-back games since early January, and I don’t see that changing here.
Texas is far from a bad team—they’re certainly not NIT or CIT material. This is a crucial game for them, especially with tough matchups against Mississippi State and Oklahoma to close out the regular season. With both teams fighting for an NCAA Tournament berth, the edge should go to the home team. Texas has been solid at home (11-5), while Georgia has been awful on the road (1-7), losing all seven conference road games by an average of 16 points.
On top of that, Texas would love to get some revenge on Georgia after dropping two football games to them this year.
I understand how tough it will be to trust this Texas team but m I’m going to tonight!
