It seems to me that Texas Tech plays well when they are in the underdog role. Seton Hall was favored by 9 not too long ago, and Texas Tech beat them by alot. I can see the same thing happening in this matchup, as the spread is similar. I'm not sure if TT will beat Ole Miss by alot, but they should keep this game pretty close, cause I beleive Pat Knight is an up and coming coach. TT played horrible in the 1st half of their game vs JAX, but they picked it up in the 2nd half, and won by 5. To me, 9 points seems like alot because I think these 2 teams are very similar. THOUGHTS ???

Put it this way, Kentucky is favored by 9 against Cornell, and Ole Miss is favored by 9 vs Texas Tech. The same line, basically. If Kentucky played Cornell 10 times, KY would probably win at least 8. If Ole Miss played 10 times, Ole Miss probably wins 6 times, maybe 7, maybe even 3...who knows ?? The point is, I think 9 pts is too much. And home advantage has meant crap in the NIT, CBI, and that other Insider tourney, so I don't make too much of that.

ok, I decided to lock in Texas Tech &#x2B;9 for 2 units.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Basically, I think 9 points is too much from an Ole Miss team.  Too much love for a mediocre ball club.  And home court means nothing cause who wants to play in a half empty gym

The under is the play here. TT&#x27;s half-court offense is one of the best in the nation when they execute it right, and tend to use the majority of the shot clock during their possessions. Stay away from the side (HEAVY LEAN ON TT), and play the total. My 2 cents
