just do your due dilengence prior to placing a bet on an underdog on national tv. common sense. if the line seems too good to be true, then it is too good to be true.  ND should have been favored by 6-7 using my mathematics formula.

ND was and is the better team. numbers do not lie. period.

Nobody is talking about ND and Scotty Martin passing the ball away when he could have held on to seal it??.

game should of NEVER made it to OT when the ND player picked up that loose ball with 0.6 seconds left and was wrapped up(obvious foul) by the USF player ....yet no foul was called

No i know, I saw the play. it was.  but still to make a meaningless call with 0.1 sec left is tough

so are you sayind don't take an underdog because it's on national t.v. that makes absolutely no sense. Your math is off sir........that game was a coin flip  plain and simple.

ND backers got lucky......I can't stand it when  other say shit like this about a cluster fuck of an ending to a game. C'mon on man..........C'mon !!!!!!

dude you just put your foot in your mouth. IF THE LINE IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. Your math had ND by 6 or 7 and the actual line was only -2. Then why would you take ND...........

it would seem ND -2 was too good to be true before tip off according to your math

This was a game for the ages of sport betting...  I won on a parlay with ND -2.5.  The missed layups, missed FT, and unforced turnovers in the final seconds of the 2nd half and OT is MIND BOGGLING!  Sorry to all those who were heartbroken by this game, and congrats to those of you who got as lucky as me!!!

    BOL to everyone on COVERS!!!

notre dame was up 4 with 10 seconds left and the ball...you were losing your bet with 10 seconds left in the game, how could that be the biggest moose ever? lucky for you, rather than holding the ball, the notre dame guy threw it right to a south florida player who made a 3 to give you a chance at a cover...how quickly people forget what really happened.

how quickly YOU forget what happened....

prior to that USF was up 1 (getting 3)....shot clock is turned off for ND....USF gets a steal...outlet pass fastbreak....to a wide open cherry picking USF player...who missed a wide open layup....not once but twice.... got his own rebound.....only to get fouled, NOT IN THE ACT OF SHOOTING.....so he goes to go to the line for a 1 and 1....and misses the front end....and ND gets a fast break, collision on an outlet pass....and the ND player goes to the line to shoot 2 freethrows...and only makes 1 to tie the game.

usf now has 10 seconds left and get a held ball on a BLATANT FOUL CALL...with 1 second left....to send the game into overtime.

so please...spare me....the 3 pointer with 4 seconds left was more than justice for USF backers.

When you bet on a team.....that is getting 3 points....and has the ball......with down 2 points....with .4 seconds on the clock.....YOU ARE NEVER EVER SUPPOSED TO LOSE THAT GAME.  EVER.

    The % is 0.

you lose that wager 0% of the time.

    fucking 0%

do you understand what has to happen to lose?

You neeed the refs to add a ridiculous .6 seconds to the clock....all while you inbound the ball completely out of bounds.....never starting the clock....and then when the other team inbounds....you need the perfect foul....and have the opposing team hit 2 meaningless free throws with .1 seconds left on the clock.

    Go to bed.

    All Time or recently?

I'll give you my all time to make you feel better.

Heres the situation. I was like 16 and had like $350 on the the Nuggets moneyline. ( roughly 70% of my total net worth at that time.) The Nuggets were like 6 point dogs in Detroit, so the line was +220ish.

Nuggets dominate all game, holding double digit lead almost all night. Pistons cut the lead to 3 with less than 2 seconds left. Denver ball, inbounding at halfcourt up 2 with 2 seconds left. Rasheed Wallace proceeds to steal the inbounds pass, and hit a buzzer beater. If thats not bad enough, he then goes on to hit three 3's in overtime and ruin my life. Only time I was almost in tears betting sports. heres a link, enjoy.

I was finally on the right side but that was a total fix.  One of the worst I've seen was the South Carolina vs Miss St football game this past year. I had SC -2.5. SC was up 14-10. Had the ball and was punting with 7 seconds left. Snapper snaps it out of the endzone and I lose. Still remember it to this day

This SC vs Miss St game that you mention was also my worst that I have experienced. I could not believe my eyes when it happened. The punter had plenty of space to run out the 7 seconds and kneel yet he chooses to go sit in the end zone! Now you got me all worked up again!

It's funny, I will probably remember that SC Miss St game 10 years from now but I won't remember winning this ND game. You remember being on wrong side of the fix

We always remember the bad beats more than the lucky breaks. One of the biggest bets I ever made in my life was on an NCAA underdog +16. They lost by 17. In overtime. Didn't gamble for a whole six months after that. I remember it as clearly as the birth of my kids. This is a tough life we live. I've always wanted to rewatch the 20-3 overtime...still seems unbelievable...
