Been focusing mostly on bowl game. Hope you guys didn't miss me too much. So far firing on two gems but have a big card in store tonight.


Thursday:


Purdue -3.5
Marshall TT under 74.5


This Marshall TT is baffling on the surface. They have went UNDER this number only TWICE this entire season and it they still scored 71 and 70. So why in the hell would I chance this? It's because I believe ODU is great at ball control and one of the best tempo control teams in the country and also have a stout defense behind them. They allow only 61.9 possessions/game ( aka adj tempo) Also does hurt they only allow 38% from field and 32% from 3 and Marshall Thompson who is a 12 ppg guy is "?" to go tonight. Bet that under TT with confidence

Vegas I have been following you for quite a bit of time on and off.  Been over on another site last year doing some great things with some others..

Anyway, I respect your capping a ton...but I love Marshall in this game and I agree with PACE play here.  But i looked at it and think Marshall will control the pace bit more by being at home.  Not saying I don't like UNDER with you, but I prefer Marshall here.

ANyt houghts on the game?  I think FLOW will be a little more in favor of Marshall

Since joining conf USA in 2014, Old Dom has held Marshall to approximately 8-10 points less than their season average each year....Your TT play might not be so bad off...

Also, Thompson for Marshall has been out with the groin injury since sometime in November....Good luck...

Pimp, It is somewhat of a percentage play because nobody scores 80 on ODU no matter the venue. Really no one even scores 70 on ODU.... Defense is too sound. Yes these guys at Marshall are on the opposite spectrum of pace but dont think ODU allows it. See them getting to the high 60's at best here and actually think ODU wins outright but BOL on your play

Admittedly did not see that news. Maybe could give them a young style spark but one thing i will tell you is the only thing worse than using a Penn State QB in the NFL is using one from Michigan State
