dayton has been impressive even more so than unc and does look the part of the better team but i found" it "what made me take unc
three point shooting per field goal attempts
TRUST ME IT RACKED MY BRAIN TOOK ME ALL OF 20 MINS
no matter what unc is going inside OLE roy wont let them take an inordinate amount of threes its really amazing all these games under 18 ATTEMPTS PER CONTEST WHile TAKING SHOTS AND GETTING OPPORTUNITES GREAT LOOKS INSIDE FIRST
dayton hoist from the land down under and can sometimes take 50 shots in a contest and 20 be threes i've never know this to win a championship game
the other 2 keys whether its dayton or unc lies strictly with the johnsons chris and warren .marcus has stepped his game up this tournament while chris has been steady throughout
marcus can easily be erased by ginyard i think warren will be a little more difficult i think the best way to contain him is by letting him gun his self to death lay off him a little and put a big guy on him instead of pestering him so much with a mid size forward or guard
either way roy will have something for him cause he is the only way they win 2morrow and he'll see it on these tapes i've been watching
go unc+3

Problem is, Gineyard is their only true defender...so which Johnson do you place him on?
NC's best chance is to press the 3-pt line a bit...and feed those drivers into the shot blockers of UNC. You can lay off Warren, cause that kid doesnt wanna shoot the ball. I'd let one Johnson get his, and try and shut down the rest.

The numbers scream Dayton, and the thing is is NC is NC! HMMM? I like the unders maybe? But leaning UNC +3 because these guys are not really in same class when you look at history, facilities, etc! Glad I got a lot of time to pull my head out!

true everybody wants to play in the" mecca " for some odd reason whether its preseason or post-season
Roy's been giving me this bad feeling that he doesnt wants to be here more than the regular ole i dont want to be here cause i rather be in the real tournament. hate betting on this wet dog of a feel sorry for me whiner but he gets his guys to play
probably should have lost a game or two before this but he's here now and the players are showing it and even if the coach isnt saying it he's showing that he wants to be here too cause his late game time outs his timing on calling traps has been brilliant on some level

i'll only start to worry if during the game at anytime chris johnson has 15 points or more he is the key doesnt really matter what anybody on either team does
he's the straw that stirs the syrup

UNC playing like champions. Dayton gets too sloppy or too content with a lead. They should have blown out Miss the other night, same with Cincy, and so on...
Whoever touches the rock last wins. therefore, since we get 3 points, logic states, take UNC.

It's being played at the Garden. Trust me when I say that the odds are in anybody's favor when games are played at MSG.
Dayton is second only to St Johns for NIT wins in the Garden, with 39 in 22 appearances. All time leader in second place finishes with 5, added to their two outright titles. Chris Johnson seemed to like it, scoring 22 the other night, and when asked he said he thought he'd have no problem playing there. You are correct though in past trouble teams have had scoring in the Garden. BOL

Flyn Pro. You're all over this place saying Dayton in one thread and UNC in another, and then contradicting that in the same thread. Wonder if you have anything positive to add to this game other than all the smiley faces you've posted. BOL

In last year's NIT final, Penn State shot 7-22 for 3pt Land in 49 total FGA.
That's why this "Garden" thing is a myth. When a team is shooting well the ball goes in the basket no matter where the game is. Haven't seen a venue yet that ties up the bottom of the net. BOL

total looks like it will be soaring thru the day (perfect storm being the only show in town and college hoop players anxious for action) could this total make it into the lower 140's, will take a look prior to tip and my take a nibble on the UNDER at 141.5 or so,,patience is a virtue for today as OVER backers appear to have the hammer out

no way unc take 30 3's or go to the line only 10 times
baylor only lost the game by 6points on a late 3 by morrisy
but they really shot there selfs to death
aprreciate it bhouse this help me stay on unc +3
if anybody has anything to add do so its welcome im here to make money and if you make a better case for dayton -3 im on it
I think even if UNC plays as poorly as they did against Rhody this game is close...if they show up with a decent shooting effort they win by 5+ their size and rebounding is ridiculous...and only their turnovers continue to plague them.

Besides, I like to wish all good luck and wish them well on their picks. Trying to keep positive vibes thats all...... better?
