Conference tournament action starts today in the Northeast Conference Tournament. We have a doozy tonight between Central Connecticut and Fairleigh Dickinson.

SIMS: YTD SIMS are 1756-1635 overall.
Totals 888-839 and ATS 868-796
MODEL: YTD MODEL plays are 539-441
PERSONAL: YTD personal plays are 16-11
This weekend was a great day for the SIMS and MODEL plays. SIMS went 157-132 and MODEL plays went 66-46 overall.
ATS SIMS went 89-57.
I'm looking forward to sharing from day 1 next season. However we got plenty of SIMS left for the year. Good luck to all tonight!

I'm going to roll with the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights at home tonight in the first round of the NEC Tournament. The Knights have been playing some decent basketball despite their 4-21 record and 4-11 overall league play record. Just got themselves an OT win over Wagner at home and played LIU very tough.
Under coach Greg Herenda the Knights are 8-2 ATS in conference tournament games. Two key points to Fairleigh Dickinson winning this game tonight. Limiting the 3s and turning CCSU over. If they can do those two things they can cover this game. These two teams split the series this year.
Central Conn St is 286th overall in turnovers per game and 76th overall in percentage of points by 3pointers.
FDU is 162nd in the nation in forced TO's per game and FDU defense allows 4.8 3s a game @ Home. This is allowing 3 less 3pointers at home vs the league average. I'm going to take my chances that FDU does everything they can do to limit the 3's.
FDU is 4-1 ATS their L5 and CCSU is 1-4 ATS L5. Take the Knights!

San Diego St has a stifling defense and is a good team but in this situation I can't back them as favorites. Wyoming has one of the best home court advantages in the country especially in Mid Major basketball.
