The logic behind this situational play makes sense...The only thing stopping me from pulling the trigger on it is that Butler is so much better than Loyola..and sometimes teams that get that first win after a long losing streak tend to ease up and go back to their losing ways,  Could never play Butler here...just leary that the Ramblers could lose by 20 just as easy as keeping it under DD.

Loyola spot read can very easily be wrong. Major talent advantage for the Bulldogs and I fear that they might be starting to finally come together just in time for March. With that said, Stevens' teams have a track record of playing to the level of the competition.

 I don't see Loyola competing sorry.  I have seen them play 3 times this year, twice with him in and once without.  It all looked the same to me, NOT VERY GOOD TEAM AT ALL.  One player isn't going to make a difference when it's a team as bad as they are. I am going BUTLER, it's simple, they are home, they have pride, they want to start kicking ass before tournament comes in.  The head coach is a coach who hasn't had years like this since 2007, They aren't having let downs in these games.  They are going to kill teams like this.  They will have, in my opinion, have let downs against teams that are slight underdogs only because the team they are favored over actually may be decent(compared to loyola). BUTLER BY 20

BOL on your plays tonite. I am going to play my 3rd highest bet tonite on over Ohio St. Minnesota 128. I have been all over this game today to see why it wont go over and only thing I can come up with is Minny controlling the tempo since they average 51 possessions at home. Ohio St. averages 58 so its important for them to be around that number as they average 71 points away. Minny hasnt seen anyone like Sullinger who was 5/15 against Mich St. Minny I think leads the conference in blocks and is talented at getting offensive rebounds but even that wont help against Ohio St. Minny was terrible earlier in the year defending the 3 and since the Purdue game has done a nice job. Minny actually has a higher percentage than Ohio St. shooting at 48% to 46% both good numbers. Ohio St. is excellent at the free throw line at almost 73%. Buford and Thomas both coming off 2/12 shooting against Mich St. You play D for Tubby otherwise you dont play but seriously Sampson is no way capable at defending Sullinger. Jordan Taylor last game had 27 with no assists. Craft should be able to get a ton of assists with the inside play they will have. Open shots on the perimeter for Thomas, Buford, and Smith they will definately have. Minny plays a 3 guard rotation and a 10 man rotation and basically doesnt take bad shots but against Ohio St. IMO they wont be able to control Sullinger or Craft and will fall behind and have to speed up the game and take some shots they wouldnt normally take. They can shoot the 3 ball and Welch, Coleman, and Williams all can drive so I do expect them to score as they average 63 at home. The lose and terrible shooting last game can only inspire Ohio St. tonite in offense. Just for me to many positives with this going over. Would appreciate what you see if you have time.

Speaking of early grabs, I almost spit my coffee when I saw that Georgia was +4 1/2 at South Carolina.  I believe that they should be - 4 1/2 as a fair line.  The Gamecocks are awful.  Any interest?

Something is bothering me about the St Johns-Seton Hall game/line.  Thought SH number would be a lot higher...

Memphis -6 tomorrow?!?!?!?  Seems low even though they are on the road...never a bad thing to fade Tulane either.

I'd actually lean to South Carolina with Georgia coming off the OT upset win on the road in Starkville. Very difficult to win back-to-back conference road games, especially with the personnel of Georgia. Still, I'm not dying to lay 4.5 points with the Gamecocks. Probably passing.

Opened at 11 and got clobbered by sharp action on the Johnnies. Value is on Seton Hall at this point.

Really low line. I hate Tulane but will probably never trust Memphis on the road in C-USA games.

Bogey- I'd lean your way as OSU's putrid offensive performance on Saturday probably knocked this number down 2 or 3 points from where it would have otherwise opened. I'd be slightly concerned about a stout OSU defensive effort that limits Minny to 50-55, but there is some value in taking the number where it is right now.

Thanks for the inputalways appreciate your insight. Hopped on one of your leans in the UNLV -TCU game and am watching it and over looks solid now. Anyway I think overall TCU band members might be more than overall attendance lol.
