Hey jfen any thoughts on Vandy. I'm thinking they get some revenge tonight plus Florida is awfull on the road. Thx in advance
Would've played them at the opening 2.5 number but not interested at 3.5. I'm hoping for a Vandy blowout in order to get a more favorable line for Kentucky's visit to the Swamp. As far as tonight, though, I don't have much to offer. This series typically produces tight games and we can probably expect another one tonight. Losing Yguette is a major blow for Florida as he was easily their most athletic defender and likely would have drawn the assignment on Jeffrey Taylor.

Michigan State @ Indiana +3 (1 unit) Weber State +5 @ Montana (1 unit)
JFen-
On Indiana already, but still deciding on Weber St. Hate taking public dogs and usually go against (on Kansas and Georgetown last night). Don't understand this Weber St. line and the movement? Why did this line move to 5?
All that being said, I know there are just as many examples on the other side, but something doesn't seem right with this one.....
Really wish I could watch this one tonight. Should be a great game!
Appreciate your thoughts on this if you have any?
thanks,

Heading out the door. Sorry to those who I couldn't get back to. I'll be around later tonight to watch Weber/Montana on Altitude. Easily my most anticipated game of the night.

Are you serious dude?? First of all just say you respectfully disagree no reason to blow up Jfen's spot who always gives great info. You may have said you respect him but by saying all this is disrespecting him. Now lets think about this. You are comparing Indiana who is playing at home to ND, Ok St and Texas Tech. With that said Indiana (17-0) at home with wins over UK, Ohio st, Michigan and lets just throw ND in there too. If you ask me Indiana should give MSU pts. Now I know that the line is where it should be and MSU is a great team playing great. But Indiana is one of the toughest teams to play at home record shows that this year. So by no means should you bash his pick at all here. If anything ML might be the play here to pick up some extra units. Sorry Jfen but had to get your back here bro. Always great info!!
I agree! Jfen has put his heart and soul into capping. It really shows! MSU is a great team, but right now they only need to win ONE of their last two games. IMO, (you're probably laughing) MSU will come out flat because they wont have the motivation that Indy has. Indy has a target...and that is MSU. They will swarm all over MSU and the crown will get to MSU, just like the other upsets @ IU. Good cappers measure heart!

Not quite sure we are talking about the same thing..... My concern is taking a public dog, not a public favorite. I routinely play more dogs than favorites, but try to steer clear of public dogs.......it just never works out for me.....

Sorry I missed you on the weekend my hard drive went out. Wanted to discuss some B1G games. I played Indiana tonite also +3 like to start the night out green. I know you didnt play this but Minny is done. Last few games against Wisc and Mich St at home took any hopes away from them as evident in the Indiana game. I am going to play under in the Minny Wisc game 118. I know you have a good feel for the Weber St. game so going to play it also. BOL tonite.

Regarding Weber, I'm definitely on the "square" side here but cannot discount what I've observed over three months of watching both teams play. Weber is the nation's best free throw shooting team; Montana's physical style of defense allots teams free throws in bunches. WIll Cherry is a terrific defender for the Grizz and is probably one of two or three guys in the conference who can actually make Lillard work for his points. But at the end of the day, he's also Montana's go-to guy on offense and 35-38 minutes of chasing the nation's leading scorer eventually takes its toll. Weber's frontline is the only one in the conference with the size and length to pose problems for Selvig and Ward. I expect a close, intense game between two very fundamentally-sound teams. Can't wait

2/28 Final Card UCONN @ Providence +5 (1 unit) Michigan State @ Indiana +3 (1 unit) Weber State +5 @ Montana (1 unit) Xavier ML +305 @ SLU (0.5 units)
Added X money line. I think it's one of two scenarios: SLU wins comfortably, or X squeaks one out. If there's one thing SLU's stifling helpside defense struggles with, it's athletic guards who can both score off the dribble and from the perimeter. Pretty even in the frontcourt, though Conklin and Evans are a little tougher than their Musketeer counterparts despite giving up considerable height.
