I'm a SD State alumni and this is NOT the team of the last 3-5 years.. they turned over nearly the entire roster.. I've probably seen a dozen of their games, and they are a rollercoaster! I saw them beat Creighton and Houston and thought "what a great team!" and I've seen them struggle against UNLV, Air Force, San Jose, Fresno, Boise, almost every opponent the last 6+ weeks... you never know what you're gonna get with this team EXCEPT -- you will always get effort defensively and on the boards, effort doesn't always equal results. This year they've got 3 guards (Bird, Boyd, McKinney).. Bird is a stringbean looking kid w/the popular shaved sides of head and finger in a light-socket hairdo. He can be MUCH better than you'd think by the looks of him, IF his 2pt shot gets going, his whole game picks up.. sometimes it happens. Boyd has the look of an athlete, transfer from I don't remember where, but he can drive and run. McKinney, short n quick and likes the 3.. but NONE of them shoot like RJ Davis on NCar. ALL are scrappy and unselfish. On any given night if 2 of them get it going they can keep up w/anybody. Gwath Magoon is their 7ft center/shot blocker, but he's slender and still filling out, a surprisingly good 3pt shooter though.. didn't get to see Aztecs lose the other day against Boise, but they only managed 51 points... you're not going to win many games EVER by scoring 51 points. 'gun to my head', I'd have to take Carolina, but they're pretty shaky too lol no wager for me I have NO IDEA how they're gonna play tomorrow
great ink

Mountain West Trend: When seeded as 10 seed or worse, Mountain West teams have lost 22 straight NCAA tourney games. There’s a team I’m banking on to end this streak.
Don’t let the last play affect the next play

Takes balls to go against 0-22 streak,
I'm guessing Colorado State,
Colorado State are 10-0 ATS in their last 10 games, there Crushing it right now.
