I agree with uconn...they are bigger inside and if you look they are ranked number 6 in the nation in blocked shots..but uconn only beat this team by 2 at home and now they are at villanova..and if you look at the schedule..nova has played some good games against good teams...advance on this one with an asterisk..lol..BOL..

Kemba Walker hit a floater in the lane with 2.5 seconds left to lift No. 8 Connecticut to a 61-59 victory over No. 7 Villanova at Gampel Pavilion on Monday.

Walker finished with 24 points, six rebounds and five assists, and Alex Oriakhi chipped in 14 points and 12 boards for the Huskies (15-2, 4-2 Big East), who have won four straight.

Connecticut shot out to a 10-0 lead in the first four minutes, as Walker drained a pair of 3-pointers, and the Wildcats struggled to find a rhythm. But Villanova (16-2, 4-1) snapped out of it and went on a 12-2 run to tie it. Both teams struggled from the field, shooting just 24 percent in the first half. The Wildcats managed to take a 22-21 edge into the locker room, thanks to 11 points from Corey Fisher.

Neither team was able to gain much of an advantage in the second half, as the lead changed hands six times after the break. The Wildcats led 45-38 with 9:14 left, then the Huskies made their run. UConn used a 14-2 spurt to grab the lead. It was 52-48 with 4:02 left.

Fisher’s free throws with 25 seconds left knotted it at 59-59, leading to Walker’s heroics.

Fisher finished with 28 points for Villanova, which had its 11-game winning streak snapped.

Well glad I took -1.5 (-120) since line is now -3.5... goes to 4.5 and I would highly consider a middle!

Also, how do you add an avatar? I used to be a member years ago and quit posting because they're a lot of morons at this site posting... hopefully it's a little better now.

I had this game circled before the line came out - I really like UConn here, players like Napier are going to fight tonight and Villanova has already packed it up for this season. Then, on the glass, UConn should be able to grab more offensive boards and get a few easy points tonight. UConn will be able to slow the pace down some and UConn is going to block about 5-8 shots tonight limiting drives to the hoop. Since Villanova doesn't shoot the 3 that well, that spells offensive doom to me. 

I've been fade material though recently so while I like UConn, I'm sure that means Nova wins outright. Sigh.

uconn sucks and nova doesnt????...i think they both basically have "sucked" as you put it...but uconn has far more talent than nova...and they have something to play for....nova is going nowhere in a rebuilding year......i see no reason to play  villanova just because of your analysis  that uconn sucks!!!...give us some facts if you want to play nova!

This is why I have been on the sidelines for a week. Total fade material right now. So brutal - UConn has totally packed it in for the rest of the season.
