UConn vs DePaul

Doubts of Bouknight not playing, I don’t see that being an issue. Think Vegas is disrespecting this UConn team. They have a stellar defense and have had a tough schedule so far.

This team is made of something special and it starts with the boss himself, the coach.

This guy has his team gelling very well together and I can see them continue with a nice run at a DePaul team that has played fewer games as well as fewer big games.

Unless if DePaul is shooting lights out, I can’t see them cover in this spot. Don’t get me wrong DePaul isn’t a bad team, yet I don’t see a fair match here. 

I am locking in this now.

I’m fairly new here. But there’s some guy with a long thread who been hot the last couple of days with his picks. I’m sure he will fizzle soon 

Defense and Offense have been stellar. I will also add that UCONN is #2 in the country in offensive rebound rate and DePaul is #323 in defensive rebound rate.

UCONN rebounding on 2nd chance points destroyed Depaul last time...

How is it possible that this changes unless Depaul guys all grew 6 inches..AHHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOO

Depaul will need extreme shooting percentage from beyond to stand a chance as inside game versus UCONN is not going to happen...with or without BNIGHT

I see some guys on Depaul and while anything is possible....Ill lay points with the better defending and better scoring team

I know UCONN thumped them by 21 on 12/30, but just to be safe I bought down a half point. UCONN -4 ($2,700) @ -122

Wanted to get cocky and take them at -9.5, but again.. just being safe.

-9.5 is steep, think UConn wins by 9 or 11 this time.

Yet, it depends on the defense. DePaul has great guards so if they are on fire from outside could get close. Also they can drive the ball well. 

Yet, this defense is legit. Excited to see the depth of UConn also I can see Akok Akok get more minutes since DePaul is weak in the paint.

 And I think Whaley is a bigger factor today than last time these two met. Foul trouble and eventually fouling out led him to playing only 15 mins in that game. He will grab some boards and score some points tonight.

 Whaley is nice but I can see Akok Akok playing 15 minutes at least maybe more depending on how well he is playing.

Should be a good game, just nervous with the board basically split on this. Lots of good cappers on DePaul.

Could come down to the wire.
