Been waiting for this game for weeks, Connecticut is the superior team this season. Don’t make this bet on Villanova. I’ve literally had it circled for weeks.

Villanova  should based on no injuries, Gillespie playing @ 70% will he finish the game ? or will he maybe a scratch?? Nova should be be +1-2 off the line they had @ home vs UConn along with the Huskies maybe getting Akok back finally. Villanova has covered 30% of their games the last month. 3-7 ATS last 10. Villanova has been a dog very rarely this season and all on the road against top teams besides one Big East team that is ehh..  decent to fair? mostly early on the they have not faired well but again against more talented and very high level teams 11/12/21 @ UCLA +3 Lost by 6 ATS,  Game went OVER 140.5 86-77 , 11/21/21 @ Purdue +3 Lost by 3 ATS, Game went OVER 80-74, 12/12/21 @ Baylor +5 Lost by 16 ATS, Game went UNDER 137 57-36. 1/12/22 @ (Big East) Xavier +2 Won by 2 ATS, Game went UNDER 138.5 64-60, Tonight Villanova is +2 to +2.5 vs UCONN.  Interesting comparisons during the season would be @ Tennessee-2 which was a Villanova blowout by 18, @ Syracuse-8.5 which Villanova won ATS by 5.5, @ Creighton - 7.5 a Villanova LOST by 20, OVER 133.5, this game was after getting completely shutdown and routed in Waco only scoring 36 points in that game. 1/1/22 -2 @ Seton Hall WON ATS by 4, OVER 137.5 73-67.  1/19/22 VS Marquette LOST SU as a +13.5 home favorite 57-54 UNDER.  2/2/22 (interesting date all 2s same as tonight's game with an added two:)@ Marquette again and again Villanova loses SU as a -4.5 road favorite 83-73 OVER 132.5, finally @ Providence which was a showdown of the best two teams in the Big East. Villanova WON 89-84 and covered by 1 as a -4 road favorite way OVER 132.5. Interesting many of the totals flew way over besides the dud vs Baylor cover or not but rare that a team scored over 80 and Villanova came away with a cover. This is due mostly to Villanova's pace of play and their high efficiency on offense to go with and excellent defense and not committing turnovers themselves with the ability to rebound the the despite not having strong Bigs to defend the glass. Quick thoughts on UCONN in their last 12 games they are 9-3 ATS vs ALL Big East teams. Games of note during the season: 2/16 vs Seton Hall they could not cover -6 70-65, 2/11 @Xavier +1 LOST 74-68, of course losing to Villanova on the road catching 4, Lost SU and ATS @WVU getting +2.5, vs MSU -2.5, best win a wild game Double OT thriller vs Auburn as -2 5 home fav.
