How could we not see this? We all pound Cornell and the line goes nowhere. Papi 4 MVP, was the only person around here on Harvard. Great call Papi.

They play that game 100 times, Cornell covers more than they don't, IMO. That's why it's called gambling and not "OMG THIS GAME'S A LOCK!!!1"

I told you guys to be careful giving 5 on the road with an Ivy League team. Home court advantage is HUGE in this conference, and most of these teams are pretty even.

Home-court doesn't effect ball handling & turnovers....turnovers are the only reason Cornell didn't win by 10+

I lowered my wager (an still lost) but not as much .I knew this would happen but couldn't pull the trigger on Harvard?

Thanks Cac......I have learned to fade the public on friday nights....That number was up at 93% some places......Harvard has played tough at home and just had a good feeling about this one...I almost played the ML on them but could not do it

In a way it can. Teams tend to play more relaxed and confident at home. It's not easy to play in front of thousand of screaming fans, and all it takes is one or two turnovers and they just keep coming. These are just kids and the pressure gets to them more than it would a pro athlete. There's a reason they call it home court ADVANTAGE.

Thousands of screaming fans (1,044 tops according to espn)?!  Give me a break...this was practically played in a highschool gym...Harvard played as well as they possibly could and still found a way to lose the game.  Ball handling is something you learn when you first start basketball...turnovers usually happen from trying to do to much or making the difficult pass instead of the easy pass....home-court has nothing to do with it.

You're trying to tell me screaming fans cause bad ball handling or making the bad pass?  I don't think so....

U my friend are wrong......If home court does not matter then why factor it into the lines ??   Not matter if there is 300 fans or 30,000 home court is an advantage

You're an idiot...read what the original statement was.  I never once said home-court doesn't matter.  Playing in front of your home fans and the emotion that comes with it is generally worth at least 3pts...my original statement was...home-court doesn't cause turnovers or ball handling mistakes.

Haha, I never knew making a point as to why they lost ATS was classified as whining.  I simply stated that turnovers cost them from covering...pretty simple statement.
