McNeese St -6  vs. southern miss

not sure why line isnt a bit higher.  Will Wade's first game on the bench with the suspension over, think they'll be hyped for this one.  And tho Southern Miss has strung together 3 straight high scoring games (against crappy teams and/or struggling teams), I still don't think this is a good team this year.  Complete shell of itself compared to last season.  And with McNeese being the last solid non-conference team they'll face, wont be too many other chances to fade southern miss with a good team, as majority of the Sun Belt teams are not good either.

St Peters game was annoying, they shot an unreasonably paltry % to make the cover just out of reach.  Bricking beyond reasonability, 9% from 3 I believe against one of the worst defenses there is.  

The McNeese line should be higher imo.  The fact it hasnt gone up, maybe not a great sign unfortunately

this line went back to 4 at one of my books (betus).  I was originally holding out for a +6 when this line came out, obv that didnt work out

Ark St +4 @ lville

I just want to fade louisville as a favorite.   I'm back to believing this is an unprecedented bad coaching situation here.  Kenny Payne is the worst coach in the game.  I don't love ark st obviously, but in general, lville just seems to play to the competition at best.  But here's what I like about ark state here, they come off their best showing by far of the season, where they had 21 assists to 5 turnovers against uab.  I'm digging that 21-5.  Feel they'll be competent here.  I don't think much more than competence is required to have a shot to beat kenny payne.  Would not be surprised at all to see lville unravel until they finally fire this guy, so taking the stab with points here

Worth mentioning, regardless of what happens with ark state tonight.  They're a team worth keeping an eye on in near future.  They've had 2 guys who averaged 10+ ppg last season been out hurt and barely play this year.  Terrance ford shot 40% from 3 last season, and Hardnett grad transfer from buffalo averaged efficient 11 and 7 last year.  Both returning very soon per their coach. 

So combo of pretty tough sched, new roster and new coach, key guys banged up, etc has led to 3-7 start, but i think they're going to be more formidable than they appear soon enough

On the Louisville matter , can not be more agree . This guy has transformed a CBB power team in one of the bunch teams that plays avg bb . I already cancelled my mcneese bet and played on arky st +4 .

louisville will likely be favored again on sunday vs pepperdine, trickier game because Lorenzo Romar also sucks, and far travel for pepp, and all that.  But man, hard to see Payne winning another game
