If ever there were an example of why to stay away from first half totals, you just saw it. They are an absolute crapshoot and I’m done with them. I had a small wager on the over for that reason, but am officially done with them.

 You are right, but the problem is that this situation happens all the time and the spreads are very sharp. I’m convinced full game totals are “easier” to handicap because unusual slow or fast starts tend to even out in the second half.
