Auburn +4.5 (1 unit) I've said it many times - playing a home game the day before Thanksgiving or Christmas is a major disadvantage. There are distractions swirling everywhere with family/girlfriends/etc placing extra pressure on the players. For Auburn, this is a road trip. There are no distractions. They are shipping up to Boston (hilarious, I know), for the sole purpose of winning a basketball game. Add in the fact that I view these teams as dead-even, and there is ample reason to take the points.

Doesn't happen very often but we are on opposite sides here. I was listening to a local guy yesterday who was blasting Auburn bball and what Barbie hasn't been able to do in his time here. I get the feeling that AU is in for a LONG YEAR. Defending the Princeton style offense that BC is going to run at them today will be tough. Due to the style that BC plays whether Anderson plays or not isn't a huge deal IMO. I think that Auburn is the ones ready to get home because they haven't been there much the last week. GL on the rest of your card!

You're right, we will not be opposite often. I agree with a lot of what you said about Auburn but this is more of a spot play than anything. It can easily backfire but I had to take the shot.
Good luck on the rest of your card, Yacker.

USC v. Marquette Under 132.5 (1 unit) Small side lean to the Trojans here but I prefer the under. Where does Marquette get its offense from? The focus this year is pounding it into Gardner. That works well against teams with no size - like Mississippi State - but not as well against a team with 7'0 (Dedmon) and 7'2 (Orabi) patrolling the paint. USC cannot - and probably will not - attempt to run with Marquette. Problem is, the USC halfcourt offense is abysmal. Fontan is the only facilitator, but he catches a tough matchup against the much bigger and stronger Cadougan. Ugly, ugly game here. Lone concern is tired legs defensively, though the early start time should hurt the jump-shooting.

I can't seem to understand these guys always asking you if you like the play after a move of a point or two. Especially when the line move is favorable.

Yeah man, thanks for the Beamon info. It seemed like was very unlikely to play, and as you said, he's the engine for that team on both ends. I sooo badly wanted to back the Jaspers but will have to wait for a better opportunity.
Hope things are going well in NY. Definitely look forward to hearing from you.
Have a great Thanksgiving, bud.
