-#16 in the country, fresh off of a dramatic win at home over the perceived best team in the conference, is an 8.5 point dog heading into one of the nation's toughest environments. Against an unranked team inexplicably flying below the radar. Lobos roll and serve notice that the MWC is a 3-team race.
-LaSalle is playing its best basketball in years and it's mostly due to finally having chemistry. Aaric Murray, though talented, was a team cancer and a black hole on offense. But Fran Dunphy is one of the nation's most undervalued coaches and his teams respond remarkably well after losses. The defeat at Richmond wasn't a surprise to me, but losing a consecutive home game would be stunning.
-Nebraska finally has almost its whole complement of players back in the fold. Talley and Brian-Diaz have made a tremendous difference on both ends and this team is going to knock off a couple B1G big boys at home. Pretty sure victim #1 is the team from Bloomington.
-Yup, Towson. ODU isn't worthy of 16 points of road chalk against any team in the conference, Towson included. Monarchs just smacked Towson around in Norfolk a little over a week ago and have their biggest game of the season on Saturday against VCU.
-Tremendous spot to back Northern Iowa after a brutal 2nd half collapse on the road against Bradley. Wichita just went into a crazed environment at Indiana State and avenged last year's surprising MVC tournament loss that relegated the Shockers to the NIT. Expecting them to bring the same level of intensity in another rowdy environment is a tall order.
-Not buying Memphis at all. UCF has been waiting for this one all year and plays some remarkably good defense on its own court. Clanton and company will have their way on the backboards against a Tigers' team incapable of clearing its own glass.
-Poor Texas. Consecutive road games against Missouri and Kansas State in a 4-day span. Yikes. I wouldn't want to be a KSU player after the loss to Oklahoma on Saturday. We should see an effort from KSU reminiscent of the beatdown it administered to Missouri a few games ago.

Curious.. Are you on New Mexico primarily because of the Drew Gordon mismatch?
I'm thinking New Mexico wins... but it will be very tight.. not 8+ points..
More situational than anything else, but yeah, Gordon should have his way. I love Steve Fisher, but his guys haven't played a road game since December 7th (San Diego). My hunch is that SDSU is walking into a waiting buzzsaw.

Why the love for Georgia? I see Tenn winning rather easily?
Desperate 0-3 Dawgs team coming home after consecutive road games. More importantly, though, I suspect Tennessee left it all on the floor Saturday against Kentucky. Expecting them to bring the same energy and intensity is not reasonable. Not likely to play either side, though.

Our bench is short, Tay Jones' injured ankle is becoming a problem, and Xavier has won 42 straight A-10 games at Cintas. Those are 3 main reasons in addition to the fact that we have 0 seniors, 1 junior, and a collection of (very) talented freshmen and sophomores who haven't yet figured out how to win on the road.

gl jfen. always like your writeups. k state and central florida r both solid plays tmrw i think temple gets it also and agree with new mexico. havent played that game yet but there is a reason they r getting 8.5 on the road vs.new mexico, like the lobos

UT is 0-4 on the road and they don't have any shooters who can make consistent jump shots. Sure they have a good post up game with Maybon and Stokes to pound the UGA big men but it will be a close game.
UT plays great D and UGA back at home at Stegeman. No play might be the best play here
