Miami off dog win OTR and have trip to Chapel Hill on deck. Will look to flip the script and play on the Canes in that UNC game. Couple spot plays as conference play winds down. See what happens. Today is one of my favorite sports days of the year. At one point, Syracuse and Georgetown were the opening act before UNC and Duke. My two favorite teams, playing their rival. Don't get to catch the Carrier Dome games anymore, but I went to my share. Some day I will attend this game in Chapel Hill. Bucket list.

Today is one of my favorite sports days of the year. At one point, Syracuse and Georgetown were the opening act before UNC and Duke. My two favorite teams, playing their rival. Don't get to catch the Carrier Dome games anymore, but I went to my share. Some day I will attend this game in Chapel Hill. Bucket list.
My favorite sports day was in 2008. My wife and I entered a radio contest for March Madness.
The final game was Memphis-Kansas. It just so happened that it was the Diamondbacks opening day against the Dodgers. We had tickets before we knew that we might win the radio contest.
It turned out that if Kansas won, we would win $1060.
From our seats, I would walk down to a TV and check the basketball score. With about 3 minutes left, Kansas was down by 9. We thought the game was over.
I told my wife and we decided to go home. We decided NOT to listen to the radio on the way home. All weekend, we were consumed by the basketball picks. We had to be right on the Final Four and then right on the final to to win.
When we got home there were messages on our phone that we had won and I got so excited, i ran out of my shoes to turn on the TV!
We won the $1060 and by the way the Dbacks beat the Dodgers!

I have some gambling buddies back home that are Duke fans. I've had 2 units on UNC straight up in every single matchup since 2001. I don't count towards record cuz I rarely play it with the book. Think they cover tonight, but wouldn't play it at 8. Good luck y'all.
