I still think they can job Georgia if they want too... Ivy league doesn't play a championship and they could declare Tennessee SEC champs.
 
I'm curious about the feasibility/logistics of moving to another site...Availability, seating capacity compared to Georgia dome, staff/security at those arenas... Seems like a lot to try and figure out and the clock is ticking.
 
You know they won't want to return the money if they can avoid it.

This is a shithouse situation. If Arky has to wait another day to play it is over for them. The way Tennessee played today, them Hogs have a chance if they play tomorrow. WHAT HELL IS GOING TO HAPPEN. ANY WORD???

The funny thing is, the only team worth a shit that really deserves to be dancing is Tennessee so it really doesn't matter who wins what in this pathetic tourny

It seems pretty simple to me. The only real option is Kentucky/Georgia play in the morning and the winner plays again at night against Miss St. Playing two games in one day isn't that ridiculous, I'm sure most of these guys grew up playing 8 hours of ball a game, so two 40 minute games seems doable.

And there is NO WAY they push the finals back till Monday. They either get it done in time or not at all.

Just heard on ESPN, the SEC has contacted Georgia Tech to finish the tourney..

Meaning they're gonna finish it off there?

Goddamn... they are gonna lose a shitload of money.   They go from playing at a place that seats 30,000 + to one that seats 9191.

Gonna be alotta pissed Kentucky fans lol

SEC is having its weakest year that I can remember...

Tennessee is the only team worth a shit.

Vanderbilt is incredibily overrated... and when they aren't playing at home, they are an average team at best.

MSU is alright...  Wouldn't be better then 7th in the Big East.

Who else is there?

Kentucky is having a great year for what they've been through, but aren't that good of a team.

Well said, but I don't think MSU is even 7 in the Big East. More like 10th. Gillispie has done a great job this year, but the fact is, Kentucky is not a good team. SEC is the only conference in America where Kentucky wins 12 games.

why wouldn't the NCAA step in and help with this.  They could play the games tomorrow and sunday.   Play the finals early that morning around 9am.  Release the field of play by 2pm that afternoon.  That would still give time for those still make arrangements.  The problem is we are so set on the field being released on Sunday.  What would be the harm releasing the next early in the day.

ummm... you really think they're gonna change the date of the selection show just for one conference?  Not a chance in hell... I'm pretty sure that the actual show on cbs or whatever it is gets great ratings every year.  Not to mention, teams have to arrange for travel, etc etc.   And you think these teams would agree to play at 9am?

Maybe if it was a legit conference, but not the SEC. Na just kidding, but no way in hell they would change selection sunday. It's not that difficult. Double up and play the rest in the thriller dome. Really doesn't matter, because the winner of Tenn/Arky is going to win it.
