DID YOU KNOW THAT DUKE WAS OUT SHOT % WISE IN IT'S LAST 4 GAMES AND WON THEM ALL!!!!!  THEY WON FROM THE 3PT. LINE AND FOUL SHOTS. NOW VILLY ,ON THE ROAD, IS BETTER REBOUNDING TEAM AND DEF AGAINST THE SHOT. THE QUESTION IS CAN VILLY SHOOT 3'S AND SHOOT FOULS EQUAL TO DUKE.  DUKE IS 2% PTS. BETTER ON 3'S AND THERE ABOUT EQUAL ON FREE THROWS. ?????

No way Nova gets this far and lets Duke beat them, not gonna happen.  Pride factor here, trust me.  These boys can't go back to Philly if Duke beats them.   NOVA easy winner!    
 
Don't tell me about regular season either.

I like Gerald Henderson to score about 32 points tonight which will cement his status as a top 10 pick in the upcoming NBA draft.

1st off, people bringing size up, Puke doesn't really ahve anyone big. Zubek is not over powering. And no, they are not the same team, but did it look like Nova had a problem with UCLA big guys? It took a while for people on here to even bring up cunnigham. He is the key to this game. He draws out singler and opens the lane up. That makes it possible for the guards to drive to the bucket and get fouls to get to the foul line. And the dumb public that will blindly bet on the Devils hasn't even put their bet in yet. Late money will obviously come in. Look, Iam not saying this is a game that is so sure, but all the pieces are there for Nova to win.

OK, I really can't say more on this game. I wrote a F*ckin paper on it.

vegas- Are you taking the X-Men cause Pitt had problems the 1st 2 rds? What does that mean really?

Match ups is what this tourney is about. You could be the 10th best team in the nation, but if you are not good at what the 25th best team in the tourney is, it doesn't really matter.

Nova has more pts in the paint, FT are at least close to even as well as fouls, Nova wins the game. Its all about game plan and how to attck them.

It is going to be a great game either way, I am leaning Nova Better guards, faster pace, better matchups.  I think Duke over achieved this year, Coach K will have them in this game late no doubt, I think this time Nova will cash in. GL

NC dropped 100 on them. Nova can get up court, not as much, but pretty well. And even if they want to play HF court, again, they cant stay in front of them. ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK.

The duke big men are stiffs who can't create their own shot.  The only player who can create off the dribble by penetrating is Henderson.  If duke struggles at all from the 3 point line, they are done for against a villanova team that is very quick and can score from the inside and outside. 
 
It is going to be a good game and I am going with Nova as my pick.

duke rebounding edge? i see it as the same numbers.. 33.9 per game.. nova depth wears duke down in the end..nova playing very well as a whole.. ml play for me..bol too ya

That's what I am talking about!  This is a good analysis.  Also take a look at the Texas game.  Texas went up 6-2 early in the game and lacked the polished finnishing skills and mental toughness and focus to put away duke early.  They missed lay-ups, had a few turnover and offensive fouls.  Duke countered by hitting some 3's. 

I feel villanova has the polished finishing skills and quickness to gaurd the 3 to not let Duke off of the hook.  The Duke big men will not have the low-post scoring to make up for poor outside shooting.

NOVA +2

Of course if Duke comes out and bombs 7 of 10 from the 3 point line like they did against Florida State in the ACC championship, all bets are off!

this is gonna be a good one, lots of points made both ways- it's Nova at + 2.5 and the UNDER (148) for me~~

Although we are seeing some reverse line movement..... 65% of betting is on Nova, but the line has increased in their favour from +2 to +2.5.  Looks like the "sharps" might be laying it on Duke.
 
Judging by the threads in this forum, alot of the respected cappers are liking duke as well, so what the hell do i know?

i like duke in this game, but they do not have more size. look at the lineups. i could score on zoubek and i'm 6'0. dook is a better defensive squad, i don't necessarily agree with rat boy being the better coach here, i think rat boy is highly overrated. he is great on the defensive end, but i can't get down with a coach who lives and dies by the 3. i expect henderson to go off tonight and singler and scheyer to get theres. i actually see a ton of value in puke tonight seeing as all they have to do is win, and we all know they will get the officiating advantage. with that being said, i'm sporting the wildcats t shirt and cheering for villanova because my hatred towards duke won't allow me to root for them
