Papi, I stated that in that other thread that was calling for the biggest moose ever!!!! Give me a break, not even close to a moose. Ya'll deserved a win like this. Clemson has a much better shot at making some noise than Stanford!
I think Clemson could very easily make a good run. They have a lot of talent, and have been in tough games a lot this year so they should be prepared for the tight ones. If they can hit their FTs watch out.

I know we deserved it and I am not calling it a moose....But after when we were down 16 points early in the 2nd half I just knew it was over. I was expecting Clemson to just roll over and die but Maryland could not close the game out.....I agree that my boys have a good chance at making some noise as we have some depth at guard and have a couple of decent big men to come off of the bench.....Oglesvy is gonna be a JJ Redick from 3 point land....He can hit from anywhere on the court. I just wish he had a conscience and sometimes knew when not to shoot it

Arizona? They wont even make the tournament. They're 17-12. Walters had a wipe open 15-footer for the tie today but handed it off to Bayless who was triple teamed and missed a 3. That pass cost Arizona the tourney.
UCLA will be the national champ. Collison is arguably the best PG in the country on both sides of the ball. As much as I hate Kevin Love, the kid can play. Their supporting cast is great, and they play in the best conference in the nation.

He gets in foul trouble, the Cards go in droughts. They do have the depth and play the defense needed and can get as hot as anyone but one bad stretch in the tourney, your out and the Cards don't have that wildcard to get them out of those stretches.

I am biased but watch out for wisconsin. I fully expect an early upset. Sat next to UNLV band last year and never got that fight song out of my head(it is awesome). They do play down to the competition, but they also play up to the comp, ask texas(disregard duke, they played like MSU did today). Been on a roll lately, 7-1 in the league on the road. I know the big ten sucks, but it still is one of the toughest road conferences. Playing off the hook defensively, Nietzel could not get away from flowers the other night. Badgers are not like they have been in recent past. We actually have inside presence and more than one talented offensive player. Butch is finally half the player he was supposed to be. No real stars but 4 players in double figures. There was a stretch where in 5 straight games 5 diff players had 20. IF they get to sweet 16 and its in Midwest region watch out. I think regional is in detroit.

Still like the vols all the way. Pearl is a jackass, but a great coach who is growing on me.

Washington St doesn't have someone that can take over a game yet you say they can make the finals? UCLA runs the halfcourt game very well, and are built for the NCAA tourney. This is pretty much the same team that made the Final Four the last two years, except more experienced.
Duke doesn't impress me at all. They can get hot shooting and if so they are tough to beat, but relying on the outside shot to win 6 games against top competition is not going to work. They've come back down to earth recently losing 2 of 4, and playing tight with GT, and squeaking out a win against NC St.

I agree Chase Duke relies to much on 3 pt shooting. If you look at teams like UCLA , North Carolina , Kansas , Georgetown , Louisville , Memphis , ect ... they can score driving to the basket , shooting , down low. Your right I doubt Duke will go far they'll get hot but then go cold eventually.
