Except in special games (final 4)

    referees. fixing games.

    We got another one.

    Wisconsin should be up 10.

    Enough said.

Jones is way better than Okafor tonight. Okafor should have sat, he would have helped the team out.

That was an absolute fix for Duke.

Pro and college basketball is garbage.

This from a guy who played tons of basketball in college, and still plays some basketball from time to time.

Best referees in the country, my *ss.  It's one big fix.

And everybody gets fooled, except those who can see it for what it is.

13 fouls for duke 4 on two of their best players. 15 fouls on wisconsin, none of wisconsins best players were  in foul trouble

i don't want to get into that it's too long ago for anybody to care

none of wisc's players were in foul trouble because none of them deserved to be in foul trouble

we also had a clear out of bounds, and a clear fingertip

it's just awful man.  the only thing that gives me hope is silver seems to have picked decent refs.  so i'll give the nba a chance

but this fix stuff in front of millions just makes me sick.  granted it's a corrupt world, but we're not supposed to be living in russia, we're supposed to be living under the rule of law, and everybody's supposed to be treated fairly.  you'd think a sports game, wouldn't be fixed.  but it's corrupt at its core.

it's why i'm getting into boxing and mma more than ever.  hard to fix that, just core competition

maybe you missed the game.  and if you didn't, you just another puppet.

and does that surprise me?  absolutely not.  including everybody else that doesn't think it's fixed.

me, i've been around too long.  naivete is gone.  i can see when refs fix games, and when they don't.

nobody EVER footnotes these games, like the idiots we are, all we remember is the winner.

maybe you missed the game.  and if you didn't, you just another puppet.

and does that surprise me?  absolutely not.  including everybody else that doesn't think it's fixed.

me, i've been around too long.  naivete is gone.  i can see when refs fix games, and when they don't.

nobody EVER footnotes these games, like the idiots we are, all we remember is the winner.

I am a big mma fan too but mma is one of the worst for fixes.

I bet big on Al Iaquinta and Jorge Masvidal a few days ago.  Masvidal killed him but iaquinta won on points. mma is so corrupt in officiating

i don't understand the outrage over the al iaquinta/masvidal fight on saturday. masvidal won the 1st round obviously, iaquinta won the 3rd pretty clearly, and the 2nd round was close, i thought iaquinta won the 2nd round.

Dead on the money in this thread, Bud. My best friend is a Duke fan & said same thing. Clearly fixed. When u go to the monitor & still miss an obvious call..yea it's fixed. Wisconsin played w their hands straight up. Kaminsky attacked Okafor FORCING him to commit real fouls. Wisconsins were ticky tack. Duke players bowling into Wisconsin & getting rewarded w 2 free throws. Also the Tyus Jones flop.

agreed in determining who won.  used to be worse in the old days.

I put a little $ on I think it was Hendricks, who kicked GSP's *ss every which way, and GSP gets the win

The way I always cap games is, if it's not a very big advantage in your direction, pass.  Because then it's too random (up to judges, refs, whatever).  Better off pick and choose single games.  the pros pass, a lot

if this was a fight, Wisconsin would have knocked out duke.  no need for the refs

Yeah Wisconsin was playing a clean game and ended up in the double bonus.  Yet they couldn't get any call on the other end-at the end of the game they weren't even in the bonus.  As you said ticky tack, but those ticky tack fouls happen all the time and ONLY get called when there's a fix.  I see it over and over again.  Or what about the "block" on Winslow I think it was, rememeber that joke of a call.  Another non-ticky-tack was "Lius" Jones reversing his movement, slamming Gasser?'s jaw, 3-pointer off a jump shot

In the end it's just despair man....just what the hell ever happened to our country, where so much of what we do is all about $.  That said it looks like Silver is cleaning up the refs.  The most corrupt refs were in the NBA.  Stern used to personally pick the refs for the playoffs.  And he had plenty to do as Commish.  Enough said.
