Maryland is 16-2 / Road wins at G Town , at Michigan , at ILL
I know Iowa has beaten some decent teams at home / Purdue , Iowa St , Michigan ..... but the Hawkeyes have also lost at home to S Hall and Neb-Omaha ???
When Michigan was at Iowa on Jan 1st Mich was - 2 1/2 ...now Maryland comes to Iowa and they are + 1 1/2 ????
Feel Maryland is better than Michigan so why are they a dog here ??
Looking at the win Iowa had at home vs Purdue ... the Boilers beat Iowa soundly at Purdue earlier this year by 21 so I believe they overlooked Iowa a bit as Purdue was coming off a huge win at home vs Wisconsin .. the letdown spot was at Iowa ..imo ....
Not sure how Iowa handled Iowa St so easily at home ???
Iowa is super young and for me even though the line screams Iowa here ...I'm leaning Terps .... ( not a play yet )
Thoughts ??

I am on Iowa. Their home court is pretty strong. I put more stock in their conference home performances. Not to ignore those non conf losses but they are young and those things will happen early in a year, so will pulling a big win over ISU, just inconsistent...Maryland just feels a little too hot for what they are, seems like time they come back down to reality a little (they are a good team but not best in b10) and Iowa may be undervalued coming off a horrible NW blowout. Feels like a game they win tonight.

Maryland was off to a rough start of the season given that four of their starters last year left. I have watched almost every UMD game this year (I am a fan, so warning I may be biased), but they are getting better and better every game. Iowa beating Purdue at home is a little scary, but UMD have been projected to lose their last three games and have won by 6, 3, and 7.
I am taking UMD. I read something recently that said UMD doesnt get ranked high because they dont blow teams out (and thus lines are affected accordingly), but if you can find the stats for the past two years they almost always win their close games.
As I have been, Ill be taking UMD and hope to keep cashing in.

Fading Iowa and Jok off his worst performance of the season and now coming back home . Maryland over performing 3 games and couldn't be higher on cloud 9. Overtime you see from complexion which team comes out flat in this situation a high percentage of the time . You decide which that is

Jak had back issues on the most recent game(Northwestern), reason for his poor performance.....on the fence on who to take.....if his back starts to act up again, this may be game for Iowa. Is this guy going to play at full strength?
I'm uneasy about those home losses for Iowa. Still looking and researching...

For Maryland- junior forward Michal Cekovsky, who is averaging 10 points per game this season, missed his fifth consecutive game because of an ankle injury but could be available Thursday after his walking boot on his right foot was removed last week.

Tough game to bet not knowing if this guy will be playing or not or even able to contribute. Could make a difference in such a tight game.
