Nope, they didn't, put out accurate information or nothing at all. They did however beat Florida and Texas A&M early on, two teams that are in the tournament so good non-conference wins there. But there are definitely some teams that did not make the tournament that could be Virginia hands down. USF is one of them.

My son went there glad they got in for his sake but I agree with all your teams except Sfla. SFLA has a rank of 89 and sched strength of 153. Virg 69 and 77 (ken Pom) .
There's 21 teams better on paper according to Kenpom that should have made it before Virginia - you named 2 (sfl) Wake Pitt prov, cincy to name a few. Anyways it is what it is.

You have to play good half court offense to beat Virginia, they play ugly and they win ugly, that's their thing. Either that or beat them down the court, otherwise it'll be a dogfight, they frustrate teams. And they're good at it. Just not outscoring you, that's when they struggle.

Just for the record - that's a different question - line opened at -1 for Colst - based on the variety of stats I look at - I see Virginia taking it. On Paper Colst is a better team in terms of rank and schedule strength but history tells me - in this situation , on a neutral floor the bottom team (virginia) should take it. Should be fun.

that’s the thing it’s gonna be one ugly basketball game and uva will probably tire Colorado state out at the end. But again I couldn’t bare watching that offense try to squeeze it out.. it’s very frustrating if you try to bet them.

The ACC had a guy on the Tournament committee lobbying for them. They in reality weren't close by the actual metrics. They beat nobody in league, didn't play either Duke or UNC twice. They just had no real bad losses and won ugly against inferior teams. I had St. Johns, Indiana St., Oklahoma, Pitt and Seton Hall all in before them

I think UVA is dogshit, however I don’t think that shitstain Colorado state team has the firepower to beat the Hoos. I will be taking UVA. They are going to hear for the next 36 hours how bad they are and how they didn’t deserve a bid. Motivation is a helluva factor.
yeap. Might be the only game worth betting uva..
