are you kidding ... taylor do you not bet ncaa all year round ???... because if you do and follow it LIKE 90% of the people i talk to on this site .. then the NIT is just another day at the office .. save your tourney and do what you do .. but NIT is not garbage Illinois Dayton will be some great basketball as will VTech a team that should have been in the big dance and Rhode Island who could have been there as well .. if you dont want too bet it dont but dont call it garbage you obviously havent followed ball all year

&#xD;&#xA;I think a lot of these games count.  Some teams could give two shits about them, but these lower level tourneya are huge for young teams and teams that are smaller that get to play against the big dog conferences.

You are WAY off on this one.  The tightest lines of the season are in the NCAA tourney.  Vegas wise guys and sharps hardly play these games and bet for much smaller amounts because there is so little value.  Why do you keep saying "the games that count?"  Do they pay out double because you won a bet from the NCAA tourney as opposed to the CIT.  The mid-majors and "under the radar teams (and tourneys for that matter) are were the major value can be found.  Betting games just because they are on tv, or even worse, "because they count" is just an awful way to operate.  I can tell you ten things about the Missouri St/Creighton game tonight that most people do not know - do you think anyone can say the same thing about ANY of the NCAA tourney games, of course not.  This is actually a helpful thread, just not the way you intended it to be.

Gambling is gambling, there are probably some people that won on the nit, i have been winning on the NIT too. Just because it is much less meaningful than the NCAA Champ. doesn&#x27;t mean it&#x27;s a different sport. It&#x27;s still college basketball baby!

Because the $$ you win from NIT games buys just as much booze as money from NCAA tournament?Who give&#x27;s a flying fuck what tournament it is?  I&#x27;ve hit UNC twice as a ML dog in the NIT and the cash piles up in my account just as good as it does in any other game.

The goal is to make money right? Picking the right side in an NIT game pays just the same as a game in the sweet 16. I have done much better this year playing the lesser known teams. Sure betting Pacific vs. App state isn&#x27;t as excited as Cuse Vs. Butler, but a win is a win is a win
