What's the goal here? I thought it was to make money. For the past couple weeks, the great cappers here on covers have not had losing weeks. Yet I see a bunch of people still losing. Why? Is your ego that big that you can't just follow others on their plays?? You need to swallow your pride and focus on making money. There should be no one in this college basketball forum that has lost money. If you are one of those people that hasn't won or your bankroll is less than what it was a few days ago, you should really reevaluate yourself. It's your own damn fault. The great cappers here have been on fire for the past few weeks. No shame in following other people's plays.
Great post...however, I hold no animus towards anyone who just wants to play their own selections...it's the best way to learn...I personally have learned that following hot cappers is an art and skill unto itself...many, many years have gone into observing and learning how to evaluate, when to get off the train...when to get back on...It's not always as easy as it is now...
This
I turn my W's to M's, yeah I flip those.

Lol. The op is very shallow. He says he is not a rookie but he speaks like one.Clearly he hasn’t experienced and seen a lot of big things in this kind of business ( good or bad ).I say he is just starting..... and like slappers said, gets wet easily.Enjoy your success from now op, we dont want to see guys lose, but i have to say this, you spoke shallow, you responded shallow, you throw inspiring things awkwardly and it doesnt even what the topic needed. You made a thread and people gave time to give their piece, you should be glad.Nothing to see here, the thread is like a fishing expedition.
I agree. Mods can delete. You are right. No need to wish anything. Everything will even out in the end. I'll enjoy it while it lasts. Carry on.

Great advice. Been doing this for 40 years and I am terrible. Since I have been on this site I have been tailing the great cappers on this site and now I am making money.

Oh my...
"Schrödinger's bet." A bet that loses when you bet it but wins when you DON'T bet it...

You just do not like SB and that's fine. But if you want to keep score. The great cappers here had a great night again tonight. Andd continue to be successful.
King, Mike, Train, Mac, Me and a few others. So your comments are unwarranted. Carry on.
You are much more immature than I'd expect. But again you know it all anyways

I try capping for 3 days and end up 4-4. Honestly I would love to be informed who I should tail. I know Eddy and kingscorpio, who else are the great ones. Please point them out to me.

Did this guy just tell everyone to blindly follow other members picks and then back it up by referring to himself as one of the best cappers on here??? You got to be kidding me

Not sure if you are be sarcastic or not...but I'll play along. The ones I follow are SB, Eddie, Mike, and Myself. I'm sure there are a few more that I missed, but like I said, these are the ones I follow.

https://www.covers.com/forum/ViewThread/103424881/best-cappers/1#post-128297426 stop trying to promote youself as some great capper. maybe you are maybe your not thats besides the point but none of the other guys go around touting themselves lol
When exactly did SB become a “great” capper. As far as I know the fuger doesn’t even cap games? He knows a couple “Golden rules” but outside that he’s following the “sharps” and frankly I am very dubious of even that. He’s hot and that will end. So please until he’s earned something let’s not put him in with others with a proven track record. Thank you!

It is your money, so do with it as you please. Here are some things to mull over about tailing...
#1 If you tail, do NOT come back and bash the OP of the pick you lost on.
#2 Tailing strategy is not wise if you are betting serious money - esp. money you cannot afford to lose (like rent or mortgage)
#3 Tailing for fun or to have action (playing small bets) not an issue if you don't have knowledge on the sport
I play $25-$50 mostly, and this is totally a hobby for me. If I go 40-45%, I am usually only down a few hundred bucks by end of the season. Again, treating it as a hobby, and not to make money. I go to work 50+ hours a week to make a living, much easier to way to fill up the 'ol bank account, and much easier to control your fate...
If you are betting over a grand on each game, and just blindly tailing a bunch of cappers on this fourm, then in the long run, you will lose.

2018 FIFA World Cup. I know little about betting soccer or International teams, so I started tailing DoubleUp and his EA FIFA Sims. Small bets, and started winning. Bumped up my bets after getting up a couple hundred, his Sims streak stayed hot, and I won like $400+.
I fully aware this was blind tailing, and I fully recognized the risk. But it was worth it to me, b/c my kids and a lot of our close friends are huge soccer nut-jobs, so we were watching a lot of the games, and having action on them made it more exciting to watch. If his Sims started going tits up early on, I would have stopped, and probably just played unders (unders are typically good bets in Elimination style formats, regardless of sport type).
Remember kids - this story is the exception. D-Up had a ridiculous run of luck (or did he...???) with the Sims picking the field over 80%.
Good luck with all your picks.

I feel that too many people fall for the comedy threads on here. I'm not saying names it's not my style. But, look at the # of views and comments on those goofy threads with crazy guarantees. I post picks but I go through respectable cappers threads to see if I'm missing something. A lot of times I still go opposite.
I crush the Summit Conference. I'm 14-1 the last 15. And I get a fairly respectable capper telling me I'm wrong and it's a horrible pick. I win my total bet by 17 points. Point is, throw the ego away.
Also, whatever happened to that Black Cannons guy? He was hot for awhile then went a little cold. I know there was some political talk, maybe that chased him off?
