Hi Everyone,


NcaaBBcapper 7-5


A solid solid victory this evening in Depaul -1.5.  I know a lot of you cashed on multiple lines up to -3, -3.5.  Always nice when a team shoots .500 from the field and .500 from 3-point land.  I'm starting to heat up a bit at 4-1 last 5 but need to keep rolling.

Tomorrow, I'm laying my largest wager of the year with Wichita St -5.  In fact, I have already laid it because I know the line will move to -6 or -7 by 10am tomorrow.

The premise of this pick is a superior offense, and a superior defense vs a win less team in a building that may have a max 3,000 fans.  Hit this hard and now.

The laughter comes from him deciding Wichita St. was one he should "hit hard and hit now". 

Did this guy even look at Tulsa? Or did he see Wichita St. and less than a double digit spread and decide that is his pick? 

Absolutely no reasoning whatsoever is provided other than Wichita State having a "superior offense and defense".

 Then he quotes the gymnasium as a reason for his wager?

I'll be laughing when he has a losing record at the end of the season too.

I did not comment on his record at this point in time mate.

I like Tulsa in this game....I actually just put the bet in....I got +5.5.

This game seems way too easy to me. Does anybody have more insight on this one and why the line is so low? #14 in the country vs an 0-2 Tulsa squad.

With you on this one.  

Last time the spread was 5 it was a push.  That was two years ago though...

Love Danny Manning's boys in this game.  Defense, defense, defense, just like when the dude was balling.

Tough spot for Wichita going to Oklahoma tomorrow.  I think they pull off the upset.

Sometimes best reasoning of the world and you still lose the wager.

If you don't care about his feeling, just leave.. Damn

I think it's to easy also and that's why it's a Wichita -5 for me. No one has come with a solid reason Tulsa covers this number.  Wichita returns most from a final four team and Tulsa is probably worse than last year.  A ranked team only giving -5.  Or 5.5 now.  I'm surprised the line is this low and couldn't care less.

I like Wichita State as well, not only because of offensive and defensive supremacy but also because they have owned the H2H matchup  between these two teams.

I believe trends are important to consider when wagering because history tends to repeat itself.  I've found this to be especially true in NHL, soccer, tennis and NBA Basketball.

At -5.5 I think we are getting quite good value for a team like Wichita State on the road against Tulsa.  On a neutral court I would easily take this team -8.5 so -5.5 on the road is quite the bargain, imo. 

While this is gambling and anything can happen, I am extremely confident that if this game was played in the same setting 10 times Wichita State would cover the spread the majority of the time.

That's why I believe they are the right play.

Also keep in mind its Shockers 1st road game.  Line sure seems generous though..Canes D has been poorous so far ,givin up an avg of 85PPG.

I love this play! Witchita beat them last year 86-60 on the road there wow with almost same team as last year I agree 10 star play I will call it a 20 star also Tulsa lost to a(2-1) Oral Roberts at home by 6 points too!!
