How do you blow a 17 point 2h lead, unreal
That bad beat reminds me of last year North Texas vs Wisconsin NIT game.. where wisconsin failed to score a point for like 12 game minuted and lost

Thanks to their cocksucking coach!! Fucking prick was literally telling them to eat every second of clock in the half court offense. They’d break the press and he had them slow it down rather then going to basket. Meanwhile they built their lead through out the game on fast breaks and pushing the ball!! How’d did that work for you when you scored 4 points in over 7 minutes!!!! Zero movement on offense. Some of these coaches are SPECIAL!! Fucking deserved to lose!

It's the fucking tourney, Alford! Maybe nurse a lead in the regular season when teams will lay down. But teams are desperate now, especially a #7 seed with talent.
Unsurprisingly, Alford's NCAA stats are rough:
Iowa (1-3 in 8 years)
New Mexico (2-3 in 6 years) - some good regular seasons though - 22+ wins every season. Tourney seeds 3/5/3.
UCLA (3-4 in 6 years) - never past Sweet 16 despite great talent.
Nevada (0-2 in 5 years) - great rebuild, good regular seasons, but a 26-pt loss to Arizona St in the Round 0 game. And now a blown 18-pt lead, coaching like the fucking REGULAR SEASON.
6-12 in NCAAs, 3 Sweet 16s over 25 years, never further.

@Ace of Spades
Yet this douche will always have a job playing millions and we can continue to lose money because of him. Sometimes life just isn't fair.

They were 99.5 percent to win with 7 minutes left, it’s like their players almost knew it was coming way they were acting. Then Down 1 with 30 seconds come out of timeout with worst play ever seen season on line, two best players stand outside and let big man just dribble it off his foot for turnover. Choking dogs coach should be gone.

How many times do coaches have to lose before it finally sinks in, trying to kill the clock and then having your players put up a bad shot because they are running out of time to shoot. It never fucking works. Coaches need to play the exact same way that got you the big lead in the first place. Why do nim wits think changing the style of play will keep their lead. Keep the pedal on the gas until the gun goes off. I hope this coach has nightmares for the next 6 months over this loss.

He won't. He will take a couple weeks in Vegas or where ever else he is a degen, bang a bunch of 10s with the millions he is paid he can spare a few thousands here or there on some hot ass. Probably chill by the pool and laugh at all the dumb schumcks like ourselves to take this game too seriously.

If a coach has a track record of losing in the tournament, use that when capping those games...pretty simple to keep in mind PREGAME instead of bringing up historical data afterwards.

I’ve had bad beats, but that’s as bad as it gets. If Alford were standing in front of me, I’d punch him in the face. Couldn’t have coached that 2nd half any worse.
This tournament is hard enough to beat. Giving wins away makes it f’n impossible.
i’m gonna go have 5 more beers. My condolences to everyone else that lost that one.
