How many times have you seen this happen? Too many to count. Go back to 1981, DePaul(Aguire) believe they were undefeated at the time playing 9 seed St Josephs. Some guard goes the length of the court for the winning basket at the buzzer 49-48. The entire Depaul team just stood there and watched it happen.

Sick, unbelievable, but that shit happens far to often.

Pitt did it to themselves on the inbounds. When you allow a pass over the top and you are face guarding Reynolds he will have a clear path after that. Should have played behind him and make him burn up clock bringing it up

Let's be honest. Villanova didn't win the game, Pitt lost it. Pittsburgh didn't tie the game in the last 5 seconds, Villanova totally choked their 4 point lead away, much like Pitt totally choked their 4 point lead away 2 minutes earlier.

How do you let someone drive all the way to the basket without anyone challenging them? It's not the first time it's happened. It's the baisc premise of defense, stop the ball, and yet top seeded teams can't figure it out.

Why do you try to throw a home run pass up by 2 with 10 seconds left? I'll tell you why, because the players envisioned their "One Shining Moment", ending the game on a spectacular dunk instead of just inbouding the ball and making 2 free throws.

How do you turn a 4 point lead with a chance to go up by 6 or 7 into a 1 point game with 2 minutes left? Pick up your dribble cornered between the timeline and the sideline on a trap, you know, the first thing your coach in middle school told you not to do. Then compound it by commiting some featherweight foul turning a layup into a 3 point play

I don't post much but I've just got to come out and say it. College basketball is pathetic this year. No player in the country would go in the top 5 of any decent draft, at most you might see 2 of these players in the top 10. Stupid mistakes everywhere. I guess someone has to "win" the championship every year, but honestly, this year, the other 343 teams or however many their are just lost it.

Was the game exciting? Yes. Did it have a thrililng finish? Yes. I also see games at the local youth league at the rec center that are exciting and have thrilling finishes.

Good luck to whomever you all take the rest of the tournament. One thing, its not for the faint of heart.

I just laugh at the things that happen in games this year, and even the officiating, its like all the games this year are directly "made for tv".. Especially that Cuse Uconn laugher.
