what a strange line. marquette is peaking right now. WVU has kilicili and jones to do work inside, and even though marquette is small, they don&#x27;t seem to give a shit how big or physical a team is; always find a way to win

As the Mountaineers (17-10, 7-7 Big East) visit No. 20 Notre Dame (19-8, 11-3), a common thought seems to be that if Huggins' team loses tonight and then at home on Friday to No. 10 Marquette (22-5, 11-3), it is NIT-bound.

Sorry, I don't see it that way.

WVU is home to DePaul (11-16, 2-13) on Tuesday then goes to South Florida (17-10, 10-4), which is more of an NCAA pretender than West Virginia is, despite being tied for fourth in the league standings.

The Bulls have beaten no one in the top eight of the Big East. USF's best league win came over fellow fence-sitter Seton Hall. The Bulls still have to go to Syracuse tonight, and also have a trip to Louisville sandwiched by home dates against Cincinnati and WVU.

My thought on WVU&#x27;s chances? I think if the Mountaineers can win two more (including the Big East Tournament), they&#x27;ll be in the 68-team bracket. That&#x27;s a key. The four-team increase in the field makes it easier to go dancing.

listen, vegas set a dumb line last week on Marq vs Uconn (-3). i dont care if this is a trap, let them try and trap me by giving me Marq with the points. i&#x27;m gonna buy it right now to &#x2B;3 and then take WVU &#x2B; near game time b/c i cant see any reason why everybody won&#x27;t be pounding marq.
