After admitting to controlling the outcome of games in the NBA, either by yourself, others around you, or a combination of the two, reflecting back on those games were the players and the coaches aware of the poor calls that turned the tide of certain games? In other words, if the players and coaches knew you were calling the game poorly and were letting you know it, how were you personally able to continue on doing what you were doing, knowing your were changed the outcome of a game that many people put their lives into? Thanks

I was just wondering if the 2002 playoff series between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Sacramento Kings was rigged and in particular I was wondering about game "6" because as I recall I think that game was really poorly reffed. I remember watching that game and telling myself I will never watch another NBA game again because it was so bad!!!
Also, I don't know if I can ask two questions, but I really want to know approximately how many other referees were in on rigging NBA basketball games and are other sports rigged to his knowledge!!!
Thanks and would like to hear the answer to these questions!!!

I would like to ask him how he thinks this can be averted in the future? If he were the commish, what would he do to stop, or avert what he did. Stiffer punishments? More video reviews one on one with the league? While working for the NBA, all thier calls can be monitored? Would all the refs have to live in a self contained camp for the season? Just curious on what his ideas would be to prevent refs "fixing" games like he did.
BTW, I believe the guy made a mistake. He was punished pretty severly, more so by the media. What he did was terrible, and an egregious error in judgement, but now, I think we have to learn from him. I admire him for taking the heat and making himself available for these interviews.
Thanks. Good luck with the interview. Should be good reading/listening!

I would love to know how much of a benefit superstars got and how real was the rule that you couldnt foul guys like Kobe out because it would detract from the game.
I mean as a Sixers fan, I loved the treatment AI got since he always palmed and it was never called but I wanted to know how true was it?
Also, how close were some of the games that he wagered on in going the other way and having him lose?

Wwhat was the scariest game he reffed in terms of being too close to the line that he got the wager on and no matter how bad he reffed the game the team he bet on still having trouble covering

I would like to know how much he would bet on each game, and what his overall strategy was.
I am under the impression that the guy had a serious problem, and he wasn't in it for the money or the fun of it. Think about it, if he was just in it for the money, he could have easily won some quick cash and just laid low until the next time he needed extra money. Obviously he wasn't playing for fun, or he never would have gotten in so deep.

Did he ever purposely call chincey fouls on the oppositions star player to force him to sit early? And also, were there ever times it came down to the wire and he called an offensive foul or like a 3 second violation?

I would like to know if any of the "LasVegasBooks" ever influenced any officials before or during games? kind of like the way a coach or owner would to make the game end in their favor.

Ask him how long have games been "fixed" in the NBA? I am curious to see how far back this goes. Also for athletes who crave action, how and who are they betting with, I know this happens.
Thanks

Did Tim have any instances where he received/made phone calls for halftime wagers? What was his strategy if half time lines were wagered as far as keeping his wagering discreet and circumstances where he decided to bet like this?
Thanks Troy

Surprisingly, I do not think Tim ever admitted to controlling the outcome of the games, only betting on them with inside information. He does, however, admit to betting on games that he refereed. How can he make such a grossly outrageous statement? Has he changed his position and admitted to influencing bet outcomes, including over/unders? Always wanted to ask him that, thanks for the opportunity.

Wondering if at anytime did he let on to anyone else on the crew working games he bet. Thinking he probably tried to keep it a secret, but would be awfully hard to influence the game by himself. If he did in fact ask other refs to aid him, he probably wouldn't admit it, as he would drag others into the mess. Have to believe though, at some point he wasn't in it alone. Would love to see him squirm and try and lie his way out of this. From what I've seen of him he's not good at all at keeping a poker face.

I read all the questions so far. i believe he has already answered 95% of these the best one so far i think is the one about calling a bet in at the 1/2.
He admitted to finding out which officials called what games and based on there likes or dislikes for certain players, coaches etc. he would make his bet. my question is. Was there ever a time he made a bet based on the like or dislike angle, where the player or coach in question ended up not playing/coaching or the ref. ended up not officiating for one reason or another. If so did that affect the result of his bet?
