Why is Zaga considered such a lock for the tourney? They havent beaten a single team that is considered a lock for the tourney- Arkansas, West V and BYU are their best wins and Ark/West V are likely NIT teams, BYU is bubble team. The only 2 surefire tourney teams they played they lost both (memphis/kan st)
I would love them to see them lose a 3rd str8 tonight, not betting on it tho...anyone feel the same way about the zags?
Totally agree. Not to mention this is one of the worst squads this team has produced in the last 10 years. However, they are Top 35 in RPI in SOS, so with only 6 losses that is a viable tournamnent resume. I think if they win the WCC the highest seed they should get is 6. IF they dont, they shouldnt be ranked higher than 8/9, maybe even 10.
Zags are 0-3 su and ats in their last 3 road games.
However, they killed Pacific by 22 last month at home. With one win in the next 2 games (both on the road) they'll finish on top of the WCC ... and stay just ahead of BYU.
I like them to over come their recent road struggles with a 10 point win tonight.
