i watched michigan st play against maryland and even though they played terrible i was not impressed with anything i saw. Maryland basically played a 5 guard line up and toar them apart. i cant wait to see wat UNC does to them tonight. UNC wins big.

Tarheels 1st half, should be about 5-6.5, just like Duke last night, no fear in any arena.

This is in a Big 10 stadium, where they can milk the clock down for the shot they want. Even the attempt to play their game at the start of the game is enough to force it under for the remainder. MSU probably won't start to press for quick points until close to the end of the half, or until halftime, and that is just ASSUMING that UNC puts it on them from the get go.

This O/U line says that you think that UNC will put around 85 up at E. Lancing, and that would make State have to score 83. Not going to happen. Just think about it for a second. This isn't two gazels racing, its one fairly uptempo team facing a grind it out B10 team AT THEIR HOUSE. Even if UNC kicks their ass, they aren't scoring 90 and MSU is NOT scoring 78. '

msu scored 94 pts against okla st, unc isnt known for lockdown defense, what makes u think that msu cant score 75 pts here?

State will not score 80 vs. UNC let alone 94. I have watched B10 bball all of my life, and no matter what it comes down to, they will work the clock to get the best shot possible. B10 & Izzo teams are not running teams, especially versus upper-echelon programs. I can promise you that this total is too high. I hope MSU wins, but I am a realist, not a retard. SO this leads me to the total. I feel the final score will probably be something like, 77-59 UNC. Thats well under 168. What do you see the score being?

That being said...... I will say this, and you all know this as well as I do. When I saw this total I said "Holy shit, that has to be wrong." And in gambling, usually when a bet seems too good to be true.........

GL either way, I am going with my gut.


smaller bet prob on UNC -9.5 too

168 points a game is 4.2 baskets a minute, which is an extremely tough pace to keep up with.  UNC will be leading by half, and then they will runt he clock the entire second half.  I saw them doing that against Kentucky, and I believe they will do it again tonight.

Dont get fooled this is not the typical State team.  They are able to run and put up more points then teams of past.  And dont play the solid defense that they are know for.  But 71% from the line and the fact that UC will be running the clock from about 5 minute mark, while State is heaving up low percentage 3,s make the under pretty tempting.

The game is being played at Ford Field in Detroit with a very large crowd. I would agree with you if the game was being played in East Lansing. But still....this is a high total and will be tough to get to. So I am also leaning under at this point.

You do realize that Detroit is like 20 minutes from campus. While their will probably be more Heels fans there than Lions fans on Sunday, I can assure you that this will be a home game for Sparty.
