SEEMS LIKE EVERYONE IN COVERS LOVE SMU.  NOT ME.  NEVADA WILL RUN ALL OVER SMU TOMMORROW.  NEVADA IS USED TO PLAYING PASSING TEAMS SO THEY WILL BE PREPARED.

yeah, i would lean smu but when this forum is all over a side, it tends to lose at a 90% clip.  good luck!

No way Nevada is prepared for this one. As we already know Nevada will be without two of their 1,00 yard rushers one due to injury and another due to ineligibility. However, last night I read another article about two other Wolfpack players were suspended from the team and one was even kicked off the team entirely for shop lifting. While both these players were not starters each played in 11 games this season and one of them started at Safety vs San Jose State (Andre Davis who was kicked off the team). Bottom line, I am looking at a Nevada team that seems to be in fritz vs an SMU team that from everything I have read have come in very focused and really want to make some history while the whole country is watching on Christmas Eve. While, Nevada's 3 game bowl losing streak concerns me I believe that these distractions have offset any motivation that the Wolfpack would have gained from that losing streak.

well if nevada is so ready for the passing game why do they rank 119th in pass defense then? SMU will have their way with that wolfpack secondary all night BOL tho

This is the thinking i like!  Everyone is all over SMU because of the recent news.  Yes their 2 RBs are out, but we still have Kap and our soph back, whose no slouch.  This kids getting a chance to show these coaches what hes got, and the O-Line will open up HUGE holes for these two.  Look for the running game to continue to light up the scoreboard even without our 2 starters.

Yes, the secondary is suspect, but that isnt news to anyone.  they will continue to give up their fare share of points, but how is SMU going to stop the pistol offense?

Nevada without their defensive coordinator(left for Portland St Head coaching job) without a linebacker who was suspened on Nov 29th two days after their Boise State loss and without two contributors their nickel corner and a safety who gets PT. How will they stop SMU? Who does also by the way have a 1,000 yd rusher which people seem to forget. This isn't USC where you can just plug guys in this is NEVADA this is the type of thinking I like.

spread down to -10.  just layed more on the game 770 to win 700 nevada -10

total of 1870 to win 1700

this is my winnings the past 2 bowl games.  either double up or start from scratch

Yeah, and I respect alot of opinions here and we're often opposite the public.  But, I'm on Nevada.

  bets couldnt agree with you more about the o-line opening up huge holes.  smu runs a 3-4.  even without nevadas 2 runningbacks,  the pistol will still gain  yards and points against smu.  i think before the end of the game,  smu will run a shit load of 4-3.  good luck
