Up date on DOGE- Department of Government Efficiency spending cuts ...

Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency update of federal government savings in early March... Claiming total government savings of $105 billion, up from the $65 billion it claimed in last week's update..

The status of the members who answered the thread question :What is your estimate on how much DOGE.... The Dept. of Government Efficiency ( set to disband by July 4, 2026) will cut federal spending by the dead line?

Side note: Many members of the work party entered  this thread ,but wouldn't  give an estimate of how much DOGE will cut ?

Since it's so early in the cost cutting process  ..Anyone who wishes to make an estimate can do so till the end of March ...after that your estimates will not be recorded..

Where are the documents showing the exact cuts and savings ? Or do I just have to take Elons word for it! …It claimed just don’t cut it, When smoke clears come back ! Crows isn’t so bad with ketchup!

I from Missouri…. Show me! This all clucking and no show. I think it is obvious that the DOGE savings are imaginary, and the tariffs will be rescinded, so an inflationary recession is coming

Respectfully do your own homework. 

Start at any of the 1000+ page spending bills dropped the day of the vote.  

Or maybe the 1.6 million stolen fron the USPS by an employee with permanent status.

Or maybe start by legitimately discussing if waste, fraud, abuse actually exists.  

None of this will matter if they can't control their spending problem.....our tax dollars are crack to these people.  

As of March 14th the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) now claims its waste-shredding measures have netted a staggering $115 billion in savings.....that's an avg. of about one Billion dollars a day since last savings up date.

DOGE, says that the biggest savings have come from the General Services Administration (GSA), followed by the Education Department and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Increasing number of judges denounce DOGE illegal efforts to cut spending of federal agencies. Congress hasn't authorized dismantling of government.   Trump has no authority to withhold funding approved by congress.  In first term, he was impeached for withholding military aid to Ukraine.  Contempt for the rule of law is among characteristics of fascism.

I heard Trump is set to sign an order to prepare to shut down the Department of Education.  
This is a big one I am really rooting for to hit my number.  

I think if he can get this through all the way and done that it would be his single biggest achievement.  This is not just about money and fraud.  This is about something that has been adversely affecting the kids for generations and is poised to only worsen their actions.  
He apparently is attempting to keep the good parts going while he shifts this to the states.  

Education Secretary Linda McMahon told Newsmax on Tuesday night that the planned cuts to about 50% of her agency's workforce to start with..... began earlier in the day with email notices sent to affected employees. 

Before President Donald Trump's inauguration, the department saidd it had 4,133 employees and it will have 2,138 after the cuts.

Hell for the size of population they just should have 10 people working in each dept.  Magas will never understand govt isnt meant to be run like a corporation, where musk can cut as many workers he wants to. corporations and govt are 2 entirely different things, but hey all you magas keep clapping for people losing their jobs.  I wouldnt expect anything less of you

A person I know in PR for a major corporation..told me when they have a large cut back in personal in the company ..they cut back to the bone ..lay-off /fire more people than they want to cut that way they know they have cut deep enough and can hire back as needed..Musk is doing the same..
