Eagles QB is almost a one man show with his dual threat on a very mediocre squad.

Seminoles will gameplan for him and I believe will be successful at shutting down the BC offense, leaving the question of whether or not FSU can put up, say 40+ themselves.

They scored 45 on a neutral field against highly rated LSU  and 66 against S.Miss. - who are rated a silver BETTER THAN  Boston College....

Hmmm....not sure the TERPS should be more than a 2 TD fav (-14.5 pts)  - or even a DD fav - against the Cavaliers this week. 

I get the feeling this one is gonna be closer than many think....

Week of Sept 14-16:

Lobos -1 -115

Teams are fairly evenly matched with a slight edge to Lobos overall, dispite likely playing without WR tied for team lead in receptions.

Rivalry game, on home field, and a revenge matchup from loss last year at State.

Of course I like Georgia to defeat Gamecocks by DD, but thus far they are untested vs. decent teams and I prefere just to watch this one and see how it goes.

Weather update for northeast US

Hurricane and tropical storm watches are now in effect for much of coastal New England as Hurricane Lee threatens to deliver a blow to parts of the region as well as Atlantic Canada later this week and into the weekend.

“Hurricane conditions, heavy rainfall, and coastal flooding are possible in portions of eastern Maine on Saturday,” the National Hurricane Center said. A hurricane watch has been issued for the area, it said.

The center also warned there is potential for “life-threatening storm surge flooding” in parts of southeastern Massachusetts, including Cape Cod and Nantucket late Friday and Saturday. A storm surge watch has been issued there.

It is of course not guaranteed that Hurricane Lee weather will impact any of the games in the NE, or if it does, how much impact to the game - especially TOTALS - but it might be advisable to hold off from betting TOTALS on those games until gametime.

I personally don't bet CFB totals as a rule, but for those who do, Bridge1 did raise an excellent point in his thread, worth reading.

I was leaning toward a bet on the Minutemen but with the line drop I'm backing off and will just gather info for the following week in this case.

Leaning toward the IRISH again......but want a better line....

If the HAWKEYES line was a little lower I would seriously consider it in this spot against a struggling WMU squad...

I'm thinking Old Dominion might be under valued this week ....playing at home....

DUKE is for real!  But currently odds too high to take'em.....I can buy points and take it down to 9 where I would feel much more comfortable but the juice is far too high on that yet......wait and see if it might come down some...
