 Just one question. Why is the line -13.5  ...? By your description, they should have tried to make it attractive for Cuse betters at 14.5. But they put the line on the side to make it attractive for Clemson betters. I don't think you should be doing the finger-pointing on the trap side of the line.

 who is it too easy for to play? 13.5 is a very tough line to take for Cuse betters. Might as well be 7.5. Clemson has made 5 field goals and 13 tds in 5 games. I don't think betters are expecting to lose by a TD and 2 FGs. That would not be the most likely scoring differential. 

Syracuse has 24 TDs and 7 FG. 

This game should have a differential defined first by TDs and secondly by FGs.

By your logic, if this bet is good for Clemson betters, the logical score would be a two TD win. And this line is perfect for that. So you do have that. But, in my opinion, when the line is perfect for the expected outcome, it is when you should run away. In summary:

This line is great for Clemson betters. It says, Clemson will win by 2 TDs, this game is an easy lock.

It is terrible for Syracuse betters. 

You are reading the "Easiness" of this line wrong, in my opinion. 

If you're a bettor thinking it's free money/easy money from vegas, then you'd be jumping on that +13.5.

It's not easy to play Clemson -13.5...that's Gus' point.

 He isnt terrible, he is under-performing.  Coaching?  Maybe...In fact I'll say he is the best/underperforming QB in all of D-1 football...

The fact that Clemson is coming off a bye, with Dabo argubly best college football coach, scares me.  Wont be surprised we see an absolute blow out.

no such thing as a lock. However, their are bets so good you bet as much as you can on them. Got a opened ended K-high straight flush draw in poker? Get all your money in there. It’s not a lock at all. But you bet it all every time and you come out ahead in the end.
