What a huge game for Florida. I was at the USF/UF game last week and boy oh boy their offense was clicking all cylinders. 666 total yards (3rd most against FBS opponent in UF history). Emory Jones was terrific, but even better was his backup Anthony Richardson who has put up ridiculous numbers in his limited snaps. With that being said, USF ain't Bama. Both Florida QBs are dual threats, but lean heavier on the run. This makes for a under friendly collusion. I believe Florida can move the ball vs Bama, but it will not be these large chunk plays you've seen thus far from UF. They will have trouble scoring quickly on Saturday. Additionally, I suspect they will struggle in the redzone. Meanwhile, Bryce Young has shown poise in his short stint thus far at Bama. Will he be as poised at Gainesville at the Swamp? Maybe? Maybe not... Either way, UF should be able to contain him better than they did against Mac Jones and Devonte Smith late last year. I see Bama winning by DD as Florida will not be able to put up many points. Projection: Alabama 31 Florida 16

Two things I noticed about the lines and public perception. UNC is overrated because of the flashy stud QB. They lost a lot of firepower to the NFL last year and they haven't looked great on defense this year. The second thing, UVA is undervalued despite their stellar play in 2 weeks. This combination makes for a good underdog ML sprinkle, but I'm taking UVA with the points and feel extremely confident in Armstrong making this a close game at the very least.

Do I have a thing for the State of Virginia? Maybe :)... Actually no, it's purely a coincidence. Jarret Doege is not the answer and we saw what VT's defense was capable about playing against UNC. I know I devalued UNC in my post above, but that doesn't mean UNC's offense isn't really good. I see VT containing Leddie Brown and winning this game outright.
