Iowa has to replace their QB Stanzi now with KC Chiefs, and our favorite drug dealer here in Iowa City WR Derrell Johnson-Koulianos who we lost at the end of the season last year.
Tenn Tech will run a spread offense and uptempo that gave Iowa fits last season. They have 21 returning starters so they have experience on their side.
Iowa Head Coach Ferentz is a conservative coach and they rarely blow anyone out and they won't run the score up like Wisconsin will do.

I agree. Im a die hard hawkeye fan from iowa but the spread should be more around 27-30. Vandenberg however has every iowa high school passing record so dont over look him. It should stay within the points tho. BOL

I would agree that 40+ points is too much. Iowa is going to surprise some people this year (their losses are going to be replaced a little more seamlessly than everyone thinks) but it's raining pretty bad up there today and they already run a more traditional offense. Hawks win 34-7.

Not sure how people include rain in their picks, but field is going to be a little wet to start the game as we just had a huge rain storm and lightening coming through. They delayed letting the fans into the stadium due to lightening........radar shows light rain probably for the 1st quarter.

Lets get this one....I'm a huge Iowa fan of course so this allows me to enjoy Iowa winning and then not scream at Ferentz and throw my beer at the screen.

one of my picks today as well...Hawks will probably run the ball a ton today!
They definatel will in the 2H if they are dominating at half....I will have no 2H play (atleast that's what I always tell myself just before I place my 2H Iowa play.....damn I need to have self control at halftimes of games)......perhaps since this game is at 11am I won't be too buzzed and compulsive
