#7 UM @ #2 FSU 11/2 INSIGHT

Broke down 2 games this year w FSU and am easily 2-0 (FSU -10 at Pitt and -3 at Death Valley). Already gonna start this one bc my local has hung an early line of 14 and I wanna hear some opinion. 

I thought if this line was anything under 17 I was going to take a loan out. I can't see this line moving anywhere under 14 by game time. Sharps will be all over FSU here. FSU is so much better than UM. This is a rivalry game at home, and the last ranked team on FSU's schedule (before the ACC championship). There will be no mercy here and FSU will try to win by as much as possible. 

How UM is ranked #7 is beyond me. They are actually a team I know a lot about since I have so many homer UM fans that can't stop yapping about them. They have 1 "big" win this year which was home against a terrible UF team. They almost lost at UNC this week, which has been the worst UNC team I've seen in years. 

Plenty of time to discuss this, but I am going to pound it early personally. UM has one strength, their offense, and they haven't seen a defensive scheme like ours all year. This line will be around 17 come game time. And FSU will win 48-17. Once again, open to any LEGITIMATE TALK/INSIGHT. No need for useless banter. 

P.S. You may think I'm an FSU homer, but I am just a realist. IMO this is a great spot for a bettor (another great spot is NC State this weekend at FSU. Getting 30 points w FSU in a sandwich game between Clemson and Miami. You'll see me on the points as its a +EV play in the longterm).

When's the last time FSU has blown Miami out in Doak?

You've had better teams for the past 8 years yet these games are always competitive.

Everyone's sipping on the FSU kool aid, don't be surprised if Miami comes in and has a chance to beat FSU.

As long as Morris doesn't have another UNC game Miami will be fine. Miami's running game will be key. Remember Miami has a veteran offensive line and TEs.

I would say this is FSU's best team in the past 8 years by a decent margin.   And Miami lost a lot on the field at UNC.  I could see this one getting ugly.

After smoking Clemson the lines are going to be bloated. I'm hoping for FSU -9 / Miami..Doubt it tho'.

How is this FSU's beat team in years?

They've beaten a bunch of cupcakes and they beat a Clemson team that beat a overrated Georgia team by 3 points.

Its obvious who you're biased towards. If you don't think that this FSUs team is MILES better than their previous teams then please refrain from voices your opinion in my thread. There is NO DOUBT this team is much better than any team they've had in decades. 

Miami have played no one, yet "people are drinking FSUs kool aid" and "FSUs just beaten a bunch a cupcakes." Yeah, #3 team on road is a cupcake.

Just take your idiocracy and homerism elsewhere please.

FSU HAS PLAYED 1 ABOVE AVERAGE TEAM

Clemson has beaten 0 quality teams, based off what should they have been #3 in the nation? Want to answer that question or do you want to keep spouting FSU is the best team in the nation.

This thread only shows how dumb this board. You're overreacting to one game. What idiot would lay between 14-17 points in one of the biggest rivalry games in college football?

Just remember your "greatest team in decades in FSU history" has struggled against BC, Neveda for a half, and Maryland for a half. 

Is FSU good? Clearly they are but people here make it seem like they are going kill every team in the nation by 50+.

I hope FSU clocks NC State and Miami struggles against Wake just so the line could inflate even more

Damn, you're right, first ACC game on the road and won by 14. The Canes struggling against a worse UNC team on the road and winning by 4 points. Definitely more impressive.

LMFAO, this one is the best. I forgot A) Games were decided in a half of play and B) Up by 10 and 21 respectively is "struggling". They only ended up beating each team by 55, and 62, points respectively. Really a struggle.

LMAO, oh idk, based off being ranked preseason Top 10 and beating a #3 Georgia team WHEN THEY WERE HEALTHY.

But yeah, its ludicrous that FSU be favored at home by 14 against a UM team because beating #25 Maryland and #3 Clemson aren't impressive victories, but UM grinding out a W against a terribly overrated UF team at home is SOOOOO impressive.

Clemson beat a healthy Georgia team, congrats! The same healthy Georgia team that still had ZERO defense and they still struggled at home

You are saying that FSU will kill Miami and I gave you historical evidence that FSU has not beaten Miami 14 or more at Doak since 1997 and that was a Miami team that was going through sanctions

You say Miami's offense is the strength? Yet Miami's scoring defense is ranked 11 in the country and has kept Miami in the Florida game only giving up a late garbage TD, and a TD where Florida started pn Miami's 18 yard line. Only gave up 6 2nd half points to UNC and 23 total where our QB gave them good field position with 4 INTs, and GT where Miami's D gave up 6 points 2nd half

Yes Miami's offense is their strength

Shows how much you know about the other team facing FSU

Had Winston, the front runner for the Heisman, played in ANY of those games? Thats even a worse reasoning than last week when people flooded my thread saying "Winston hasn't proved he can perform on the big stage, he's on a red shirt freshman." Awful argument, just like yours about "historical evidence." HAHAHA this is the best and most cohesive FSU team in at least a decade.

You're really going to argue this Miami team's foundation isn't their offense, but its their D? Hahaha, so why did you neglect to include the teams offensive efficiency that they have gone up against this year. I'd love to hear how great the offenses were that they've played. 
The ONLY "good" offense they have gone up against all year (GT) dropped 30 on them in Miami's house. So, please take that BS and go feed it to someone else. 

But good point about their offense; Morris fuckin' sucks. Dorsett injury isn't going to help. Duke is banged up. Morris is banged up. And now you go against the best defense since you faced the Gators (who only gave up 7 points that weren't via TOs). 

UM has absolutely 0 shot in this game. I just call it how it is, which is why i've only created 2 threads prior to this one. Bc I only do it when I'm extremely confident about a play. 

But yeah, I am the idiot. A Vegas bookmaker came out today and said he would place an Alabama-FSU National Title game at a PK. I am sure thats because FSU "hasn't played anyone this year." 
Whatever your awful, bias opinion is, FSU IS SMOKING EVERYONE THEY PLAY. This isn't based off 1 game. You can look up a thread i wrote pre-season asking about Winston Heisman odds. Damn, I am such an idiot looking for Winston Heisman odds and am such a homer, huh? That was such an outlandish question hahaha. 
But yeah, you're right, I am going take the UM homer's word that FSU sucks and hasn't played anyone that isn't overrated instead of the Vegas oddsmaker who handles millions of dollars based off how he sets a line. You definitely know more than him. I guess thats why a #2 is going to close -17 over the #7 team. Especially with your amazingly useful "historical evidence."

I love how you say look at the teams Miami has faced making it seem like it skews their ranking YET FSU HAS ONLY PLAYED ! DECENT TEAM THE ENTIRE YEAR

Lastly Duke Johnson is cleared to play against Wake, Scott is back at WR who is actually the more solid of the two with better hands. Only thing Dorsett has over him is speed.

I agree with this pick.   I was at the Miami game and Morris's decision making is so awful even with time, its amazing this kid won some award at the Manning Academy this summer.

Maybe they should cancel the game since Miami is going to get beat sooo bad!!!! When these 2 teams get together u can throw the rankings and stats out a lot of these kids have played each other for years!!! Just hope if your a fsu fan it doesnt come down to a kick
