Penn State + 10.5
Here the line is only 10.5 and I am sure that 90% of the action will be on Bama this saturday. Can not imagine too many folks rolling the dice with Penn State.
Last week was great for Bama, and with 5 turnovers they actually managed to cover against Kent State. With a late FG they covered
One INT for a return to the 1 gave Kent St. their one and only scoring drive - other than that they came nowhere close to scoring - not even a FG.. So a cover is a cover and thats the bottom line for me.. Here I am going against the team that made me money last week. Having watched every snap of that game I noticed that Alabama is still very shaky at QB. Very shaky.
McCarron seems to me to be way ahead of Sims and he lead the team to 3 consecutive scores right out of the gate. Very impressive then they take him out and the game slows down under Sims and Bama doesnt score again till late in the 2nd Quarter. One way to ruin a hot QB is to take him out of the game, and when he comes back in he throws 2 picks
Penn State is no Kent State and I have to admit after the 1st 3 scores the Kent St D settled in and held bama in check for what seemed like an eternity. I was not worried, concerned was more the word I would use.

Richardson only had 37yards against Kent State. Penn State is much tougher defensively so this should be an interesting thing to keep an eye on. Maybe Richardson was not up for this game
but his Heisman hopes took a step back that's for sure
Why I like Penn State. Well they are not Kent State, and Its at home Bama really does not have QB. This would amount to a real test for these unproven guys who combined had 4 Interceptions - if Kent State had 4 I think its fair to think that Bama will have a few as well. And then there is Joe Paterno, I mean the guy is a legend and he will have his guys ready for this game. Gotta take Penn State based on the value of a tough team at home getting over 10 points. Bama will win but their shaky QB play will really keep Penn State right where they want to be.
