A&M Clemson Missouri Florida State to the SEC

Texas A&amp;M to join the SEC according to ESPN, they also are saying that Florida State, Missouri, and Clemson will join them.  Going to be very interesting to see what happens to the the other big conferences.

not sure how i see mizzuo fitting in, geographiclly or culturally. clemson makes sense. a&m and fsu i am so-so about, but missouri

personally, as an sec homer, i'd like to see the expansion to just 14 with a&m and clemson. 16 teams in my opinion will water down some of the great rivalries that are played only every few years as it is, big time expansion will space them out more.

i love the idea adding clemson as it will add meaning to one of the most underrated rivalries in football, clemson vs. usc. can you imagine if that is the last game of the year and it will weigh into who wins the east most years? that would be awesome to watch

now we just play the waiting game and see what happens. . .

16 is fucking awful. I would prefer just to stick with 12, but that's obviously not happening anymore. Hell, i can live with 14, but 16? Give me a f'ing break. Is the third Saturday in October rivalry even going to happen anymore? Who the fuck is going to drive out to Missouri?

i think he&#x27;s talking about Tenn vs Bama. it used to be called the &#x27;third saturday in october rivalry&#x27;.  though it it sometimes played a week before or after now a days. GL to all

&#xD;&#xA;From an A&amp;M side it is a done deal.  Our President has informed the coaches of the move and the vote is a mere formality.  I still think the 14th team will be Virginia Tech (despite their denials), but we&#x27;ll see.  &#xD;&#xA;Also, I really don&#x27;t think we will get to 16 teams.  My understanding is that they will go with 14 teams and you would play each of your divisional games, one permanent cross-divisional rival and then 2 of the remaining 6.  That will get each of us to 9 conference games a year.
