First of all, I already love the site. Looks like a lot of good talk going on.
Now, onto my question.
This is the 5th year I have created my own power numbers--- and I keep making adjustments year/year. I like what I have this year, it feels more comprehensive.
Anyway, after I set my own lines, I compare them to the the Vegas line, and look for obvious differentials, and see if I have an angle or not.
3 games jump out at me after tonight.
#1. I have Northwestern 21 points better than Cal----with a line of -5, I am loving Northwestern.
#2. Northern Illinois. I have them a full 5 points better than Iowa, even though it is at Iowa-- and as of right now, I love the ML.
#3. Utah State. I have the Aggies a full 6 points better than Utah.
Thoughts?
Anyone else do something similiar.
FYI. It took me 3 weeks of working on it nightly to create my numbers. I will gladly discuss formula/recipe if anyone wants to trade recipes.
