I guess we are done with college football this year.
We thought last night's game was going to be a blowout after the first half (or some of us did) but Notre Dame did scrap back into it and made it a game. Those of us who had Ohio State and 8.5-9-9.5 were biting our darn fingernails out and yelling at the TV. So happy they went long to Jeremiah Smith and that just enough time was left on the clock where they had to kick a FG and couldn't kneel it out. Phew.
This year we had the first college playoff format with 12 teams. Yeah, there were pluses and minuses on both sides about this format. We shall see what happens next year.
Ohio State i think shows how important the transfer portal is - did they buy this championship? I am not sure but the transfer portal sure did help them but in the end these players have to execute and the coaches have to coach but it sure does help to be a big school that can afford players to transfer now in college.
Thanks to all of you guys who i have tailed or faded through the year; to all who agreed with me on some of my posts and those who cussed me out in other posts. All good in the spirit of debating sports.
I love sports betting but it ain't easy....it ain't for the faint hearted but i love it better than going to the movies, seeing a play or any other form of entertainment.
Until next year College Football Bettors, have a good offseason, see you in the NFL Forum for last couple weeks of NFL.
Let's Go SKINS............beat Philly!
