Riding this train till the wheels fall off.
Army is a very good team. Temple stops their attack, then hats off to them.
Don't see it happening though!

Agree with the Black Nites .Owls have to practice vs this option offense Its hard to readjust your defense because everyone has new assignments and def coord needs new strategies an schemes . Plus Armys Qb is really talented and does have an arm good luck

Army ...on Sept 6th before their Road game at # 106 Ranked FAU was a 1 Point Dog
This weekend they play at # 125 Rank Temple .... 19 Ranked Points worse than FAU
which is not that drastic .....but come out as a 12 Point Favorite ?
In CFB ....anything can and will happen but the line to me does read Army - 13 wager
Good luck

Temple did play Navy on September 7th so they do have some recent experience against the triple option. Temple's defense did get smoked, but it was on the road at Navy. It is a short week but Temple is at home. I just don't see Temple stopping the run.
Temple's defensive team rank vs the run is 125th out of 133.
Army is 2nd in the country for rush offense.

I’m leaning Army to , but after reading your post it made me think about something. They just played Navy which also runs the triple option the game before CC so it has me on the fence even though Navy beat them 38-11 they did face the triple O. And preparation could be a less daunting this time. Just thought I would share that info.

From someone that played against option for 5 years in college, it doesn’t matter. If anything the fact that they couldn’t stop it 3 weeks ago is a great indication that they won’t stop it this time. To people that didn’t play division 1 college football the best way I can explain it is almost like a math equation that you don’t know the steps to solve it. It’s just not possible. My thought from the navy game is that army has their way with them on their ground and I’m sure that oddsmakers know this. The line movement and over under movement makes me think that temple moves the ball on them. Still an odd tough play on the over due to the fact that army could eat 35+ minutes of this game.

I was leaning Army, but Temple has shown a pulse at home as a dog each of the last two weeks, rallying from double digit deficits in each to get the money. Army COULD roll here, but the back door COULD also be ajar.
