Yup...Auburn wins by 3 at Miss. St. , by 3 in OT at home against Clemson, and by 8 at home against So. Car.

...Granted against decent teams...but...I will gladly take the 6' points with a home team that can move the ball...Kentucky outgained 4 of 5 opps. by more than 100 yds. Tough road games against Florida and Ol'Miss...now home wih Auburn going on the road after 3 home games...been gambling long enough to know this will be a tough one for Aub. Think KU has a decent shot to win outright at +210...Good luck with whatever you play, and thanks for your input.

I was just wandering how you figured that UK had the edge when it came to the quarterback position, and how the Auburn D is over rated. Both I feel are solid parts of this Auburn team.

Do you have any clue what you are talking about? Every Saturday teams cover(whether fav or dog) the pointspread with ease. Lines are not predictions of the final score, only there in an attempt to get equal action on both sides.

Newton continues to improve every week. He has now played in 5 games(4 1/2) in Malzahan's system. 5 games total. So he really doesn't have a ton of experience, however the key thing I see is he gets a better grasp of the system each week.

Kentucky's run defense is poor. I don't how to sugarcoat this other than to say their run defense looks terrible. Auburn loves to run the football, whether with RB's, H-back, or QB.

Kentucky has a couple of electric playmakers on offense, and I expect Kentucky to score. However I also expect the AU defense to get a few stops, which will be the difference.

Kentucky's defense(or lack thereof), will put way too much pressure on their offense to be perfect and match Auburn score for score. Or if Kentucky does match score for score, how do you feel about your money backing Kentucky's defense on a potential game winning/spread covering drive by the Auburn offense?

The biggest difference b/w the Auburn team from last year to this year, is last year at this point the cracks were starting to show and lack of depth crept in. This year is just the opposite. Defense is improving, offense is really starting to click.

In my opinion I see Auburn pulling away in the 2H.

Newton, as he has been in every game this year, is the x-factor. How does Kentucky plan to stop this guy?

I agree, I see Newton causing the UK defense alot of problems both through the air and in the rushing game. Also, haven't even mentioned the other play makers on offense such as Dyer and McCaleb at RB, and Adams, Zachery, and Blake at the WR spot. Alot of options for Gus Malzahn to spread the ball around to. Just don't see how UK stops the AU offense.

For UK to win they are going to have to prove that they can run the ball to set up their passing game, and let's face it, if South Carolina couldn't run the ball then UK surely isn't going to be able to. Look for the AU defense to stop the run and get the UK team into 3rd and long situations. AU d-line will be in the UK backfield all night if this is the case.

I am a UK homer and rarely bet against my Cats and I am all over Auburn tomorrow. I am just being realistic, QB's like Cam Newton will eat the UK defense up. I think it is the worst run defense they have had in at least 7 years. More than that they are killing themselves with penalties, the only way the hang is if they take care of that. Sure with some teams that is fairly fixable, but I am not so sure with this incredibly young team. Between being inexperienced at the line and the very porous rush defense I think Auburn scores at least every other possession. Hey, it's a cant lose for me, I win money or my wildcats win. I think ima win money. Enjoy the game my friend.

I agree that AU covers this game. UK may not have it this year but they are making progress to competing in the SEC. GL bro hope AU covers for us

Hey Clem-
I actually 'disagree' with you regarding the statement inferring if we can stop S.Car then Kentucky should be no problem.

Gamecocks were a great matchup for our defense because they employ a straight-ahead power run game/play action offense. AU's defensive line is the strength of the defense, no question about it.

Kentucky will be more in the mold of Clemson using a spread attack. Our defense is less successful against that type of attack because our linebackers are not good in space. Defense still has tons of room for improvement in the open field tackling department and our secondary still hasn't show up this year yet.

I will be pleasantly surprised if Kentucky doesn't have success against our defense. However I do expect our defense to step up and make some key stops.

College football is driven more by emotion than any other sport.

Ask any college football coach how many times in a 12 game season they are able to get their team up for the game, and usually 3-4 games is the standard answer.

Identifying situations is key, and explains why teams may struggle against an inferior opponent or an inferior opponent can rise up and topple a juggernaut.

Completely agree that in sports betting you have to look for those motivational situations for teams, but I still like to look at some numbers and use logic and judgment when it comes to locking in games. Win picking who wins the game is one thing but when it comes to covering a number made by experts I still have to involve some number crunching, as well as visualizing how the game will play out. BOL to all, and I appreciate the input

I put 200 on Auburn, I think they will win by 3 15+ points. I also might put something on the over even though it is big. I am a huge Bama fan, but Gus Malzahn's offense is hard to stop. If you combine that with Kentucky's offense and 2 poor tackling defenses, this game could come close to being in the high 60's or 70's. - -Gary
