-7.5 vs now lowly Tenny? I watched last weeks game vs Mizzou and Tenny looked horrid on offense and couldnt get off the field on 3rd downs. Auburn should whoop on Tenny but this line is kinda fishy no? Only -7.5? Should be more like -9.5 10 IMO. Auburn letdown here? Or nah? I lean Auburn

Jmak it was vs Arkansas last week. Imo Arkansas and tenn are neck and neck. Same exact line too at 7.5. I'm probably gonna lock in Auburn here for a lil $50 nothin major. Need to check a couple more things. Im sure the public is all over Auburn yet the line is staying steady at 7.5 at -105. Very cheap low fishy line but Auburn is getting better and better each week. I doubt Tenn can keep up with the pace Auburn brings

Gambit- ya good point. But that win was with Worley. This Tenn offense is looking pretty bad with this new QB. Lot of dropped passes last week as well. I can see Tenn getting up for this one at home but Auburn is clicking right now.

Be careful with that one.....Line looks sketchy for sure.

I use a Southeast regionalized book(which sucks since I live in the Southeast and obviously follow their games more closely), and Auby is a -10.5 for me now. Got on it early, but beside the point. Auby is ranked high, but has flown under the radar thus far(How often have they been mentioned in the national media? Maybe a couple times in the last week as Bama potential spoilers, but before that absolutely 0). It could happen, but I just do not see it. Tenn coming off 2 physical road games, and Auburn is gonna try and pound them some more as that is their strength and Tenn has not proved they can stop the rush all year. Barring some costly turnovers Tenn. does not have a chance at staying competitive in this one.
@Jmak it was Arkansas, but I agree they have been getting 0 national respect.

Arkansas is bottom of the SEC and has turned it in for the season.
No matter how bad it gets for UT, Butch Jones won't let that happen.
1 thing I will point out about the UT backup QB Dobbs:
He made his first start on the road in conference against one of the better defenses in the SEC. (Never thought I would say that about Mizzou, especially not their 2nd year in conference)
Coming back home, which will be much more favorable, against a defense that gives up a lot of yardage. This could possibly help build confidence if he can work the ball down the field. Auburn will lean on their rush game once again this week, while I expect them to load up the box to stop the UT rush offense. Auburns DBs are their weak spot, so if Dobbs can get things going it could mean trouble for Auburn.
Remember who Auburn has on deck next week (UGA), though I think Malzhan will be able to keep them level headed, look a head games do happen.

SEC road chalk is always tough...I think the # is correct, but also like Auburn....
They have a lot more to play for, and are the better team. UT has played some good games vs UGA and So. Car, so you never know, but I am laying the 7....

Here is a write up I did earlier on the week on why Auburn is the play:
Look no further than the yardage Tennessee gives up to the running
games, such as last week when Missouri ran for 339 yards against them,
or the week before that when Alabama ran for 204 yards, and the week
before that when South Carolina ran for 218 yards. They give up on the
average of 201 yards a game on the ground. Now you have a red hot Auburn
team with all the momentum in the world coming in to Tennessee AVERAGING 306 yards a gain rushing. You also have the Tennessee quarterback Worley out with an injury.
SNITCHES end up being bitches, or end up with stitches, and in ditches! #REALITY

Auburn is not over-rated. Auburn wont have a let down. The line is 7.5 cause the betting public doesnt fully grasp what Auburn has turned into. They are a different team then the beginning of the year. People think Tennessee is gonna have a huge game at home because of this years track record at home. But if u look deeper into those two great home games for Tennessee, Georgia was coming off the emotional LSU game in a let down position. Tennessee had a bye before South Carolina and was well rested. But looking at the numbers of the South Carolina game. Connor Shaw played a horrible game, 7-21 for only 161 yards. South Carolina still rushed for 5.2 a carry.
Expect Auburn to run all over Tennessee. They wont have to pass much maybe 15 attempts. Tennessee is on its 4th back to back against really physical rushing teams. I dont see where they are going to draw all this energy to stop a hurry-up run heavy offense scheme that hasnt been stopped the last 3 games. I see Auburn averaging 5.8-6.2 a carry vs Tennessee.
I know Tenn QB Dobbs will play better then last game vs Missouri. He is still a true freshman with 1 game under his belt and they def would have a better shot vs Auburn if Worley was playing.
Auburn is motivated, they have bigger goals, and an offensive scheme that doesnt have letdowns.
I think its risky to put money against Auburn.
I have it 34-20 Auburn

Auburn has only played 2 road games, and only won one, so our perception of Auburn as a solid team is largely based on what they have done at home. Tennessee is a tough place to play. And given the short line and the fact that the public is all over Auburn, for me it's got to be Tennessee or no play. The only thing that concerns me is that Tennessee's starting QB Worley is out, although it doesn't seem like he was that great to begin with. So I will probably be on the Vols for a small bet.
